We are rebuilding the Power Steering Cylinder on the 65 Fastback. Giving it a new life and fresh paint. A super easy job that will stop your leaky slave cylinder. I encourage you to do this on your car, seems intimidating at first but it is EZ PZ. This should be the same with 1965-69 Mustang/ cougars if I'm correct.

thanks for the video. I am gonna do this job this weekend on my 65...
Awesome! I tried being as detailed as possible, but message me if you have any issues👍🏻
Thanks man!
Do you need to refill it with fluid?
Yes, you have to prime it by pumping the ram while the lines are in fluid

Good afternoon friend, excellent video. As a suggestion, you should move the parts more slowly during disassembly and during assembly, so that we can visualize the correct position of the parts. Thank you. A hug.
Thank you for the feedback! I will forsure keep that in mind on the next bench video. Cheers!
I feel intimidated to take mine apart 😅
Any advice on how to manage this project?
Thats how i was at first! but id say just keep organized and line the gaskets up in the same order you took them out and you should be good! Try it! 😁👍🏻
@@rookie__pilot thank you!
Quick question: Is that sand paper that you use on your bench grinder to clean your parts? If so what grit? If not what attachment is it?
It is a wire wheel attachment on the bench grinder! Yes i use it to clean most of my parts, it makes everything so much easier!
What’s the part numbers
