As long as everyone realizes there isnt a 100% perfect solution and always a trade off this unit in its efficiency and ease of operations and maintainence plus the fact the quality of workmanship coupled with the tried and true Shwing Corporation makes this an investment worthwhile a much better parts network and that being said, this is a winner hands down just my opinion.
Best comment yet. And I agree with it.
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping Thank you sir, seems like people spend more time criticizing and ridiculing things instead respecting ideas and supporting those that are taking chances to improve the common hard working man and creating ways to possibly help make things a bit easier and more productive but I've found it's usually internet trolls just speaking out the side of there faces trying to get a rise out of folks or a total loser that's desperately trying to make themselves feel better and don't have a clue on the subject there chiming in on. People get off there butts and spend a day with a concrete operation wouldn't last a minute and couldn't possibly get excited about a new tool of the trade. I do concrete work up here in Washington state and it is a hard way to make a living.
Im impressed
You may get to see one this summer. I talked to them about going and pumping a job or 2 for you. They said they would like to.
I could most definitely see the appeal of this machine to outfits whom already have a skid-steer and maybe pour concrete typically only once or twice per week (eg: Landscaping contractors).

I can totally see the benefits of having this around. One, on a job that you’ll be at for an extended period of time and need to move constantly. Another would be tight spots because of how well it’s able to maneuver and accommodate endless set ups.
It definitely will have its advantages
I thought all new bobcats were high flow? Not really sure i even know what a slow flow is used for. Jack hammers breaker attachments run off high flow i think
It depends on the horse power. Usually attachments like a mower or stump grinder require the high flow. Jack hammers and grapples don’t.
Jef I can already see some downsides compared to a trailer pump. #1 where do you carry your hoses? Trailer is self-contained and can be towed anywhere. The Mud Deamon requires the Skid steer auxiliary power. I am sure the concrete community sees a need for this but for my money I would go for the trailer pumps. Thanks for bringing us along.
Obviously in place of the trailer pump you would need a trailer to haul the skidsteer and pump, still put hose on truck bed.
I see this being an upside for a flatwork contractor. If they are not a place and finish only then they most likely already have a skidsteer on the job for grading. Most trailer line pumps have no room for hoses anyway. So that isn't an issue.
that thing has a solid stream
nice security fences, if one flickers down, you have a construction stop. safety first. but this pump unit is beautiful 👣
Hauling a trailer with a skid steer, the pump and the hose could possibly put you over 26000 lbs. Then you need an operator with a CDL. Over all cost of the trailer, skid steer and pump would be more than a towable pump. Just a thought?
Awesome attachment
I see those new invisible guard rails...easy on...easy off..
Looks like a good idea for them jobs where space is tight I could use that on a job I'm doing tomorrow because space is tight to try get in off a busy road here in Dublin

That thing is sweet , just have to set up a lawn sprinkler aimed at the skid steer
Lol
Did the use your hoses?
Yes we used my setup. They just provided the pump.
We can bring hoses so jeff doesn't have to
thats a cool deal jeff

game changer!
Definitely has a place in this market
Very good 👍
You need one of these. Can I sell you one?
Would one of them mini skids work with this? That would make a compact pump set up.
I doubt it could pick it up. It weighs 2100 lbs. It needs 30gpm of fluid movement to run the pump. It’s probably a little small on the pump also. Just guessing though
I can see this unit being at equipment rental stores rented out to contractors who already own a skid steer
I can’t see it for your business because of the volume you pump weekly I just think it’s not heavy duty enough for large volumes of concrete but would probably work very well for grout
Cheers from Nova Scotia
Being that the pump is built by Schwing I think it will have the reliability that’s expected.
Buying, maintaining and transporting a skid primarily for moving the pump and providing hydraulic power might not be a great allocation of capital.
Someone else mentioned that transporting the skid, pump w/truck and trailer could push the delivery driver into a CDL weight rating, I think that's probably true.
20 GPM/2500psi hydraulic flow requires a +- 40hp engine driven hydraulic pump unit. A 40hp separate hydraulic power unit could be built for under $10,000 using a big Vanguard or Kohler engine. $10,000 VS $60,000-100,000 for a skid?
OTH, the concrete pump might be too high if mounted permanently to a trailer. Lowering the concrete intake shrouds might help with that.
Another thought would be to offer a specialized drop-deck tag trailer to lower the concrete pumper..OR offer an auger feeder that loads concrete into the pumper shroud.
.
Ok, thanks for watching!
Safety First
Always
You need to get someone on the end of that hose that knows how to operate it so that the rakers don’t have so much work to do.
I hear ya
can it use a auxiliary power unit that way you can use the skidloader for something at the same time

Good idea but a boom pump would do the job just perfect with out running all those dawns hoses
No place to set it up
I looked that mudemon up and they are coming out with a skid steer boom pump
Jeff they said 30yds an hour. Whats your pump do an hour. I do like how quiet it is. Be really nice in the subdivisions.
It’s rated at 45 but the best I’ve ever done was 30 an hour
I recon it's worth a try on Shotcrete.
How many feet of system has it been able to push through what’s it’s maximum length I guess I’m asking
mnkotamfg.com/mnkotasales/muddemon/
You have to have the skidsteer to operate or is there any other way to operate skidsteer is good for ppl that need it on a job site but if you don’t need it you wouldn’t take it on a job rite
Depending on the price it wiuld make sence for the concrete guys who have to bring a skid steer to the site anyways
Absolutely it would
Do you think those will eliminate a lot of people with pump business ? I feel like contractors will buy that instead of calling the line pump operators.
I do have mixed feelings about that
I don't you can buy 10 of them but the 1 thing that makes that pump what it is is the man pushing the buttons. You don't buy experience you definitely earn it
I made contact with these guys yesterday. Unfortunately, they do not have a reseller here in Western Australia, though you can import yourself .
Hey email me at jtucker1239@yahoo.com and I can see if I can help you get with them.
mnkotamfg.com/mnkotasales/muddemon/
It is worrying that they are going to replace the old ones with modern ones.
Ok 👍
You like it?
Price??
mnkotamfg.com/mnkotasales/muddemon/
The only application I can see for this is if you’re on 1 job for an extended period of time where you also have the skid steer parked. Other than that it doesn’t seem practical.
one job a day a week is fine
How does a guy work in that business without boot's? Hmm.
I think he was new
You contractor lucky OSHA doesn't watch any of your videos.

Texas isn’t an OSHA state

Texas is under federal OSHA jurisdiction which covers most private sector workers within the state. State and local government workers are not covered by federal OSHA.
Texas has a free service called OSHCON which help employers understand and comply with OSHA standards. Its voluntary program
Ok
Every job has a osha citable offense. If osha wants to write tickets it's not hard. Even a chipped outlet cover is a citable item
Better off with a power buggy not worth money
Will have to agree that we disagree. I’m not a fan of a power buggy. They are overpriced and they have their limitations. Not worth it.
They generally don't go up stairs that well either.
@@dannpriebegreat point. Lol
a power buggy, like a concrete bucket, is also a mean that have an intermittent supply of concrete where a pump is a more constant and adjustable one...
The power buggy will also do a mess on grass 'cause it's heavier than the hose where just a tarp would keep it away from plowing the garden everywhere it lay...
