- In this minecraft video I play minecraft and go to the nether for the first time in 10 years. I play minecraft all the time, but I haven't played vanilla minecraft on a new version of the game.
This video was made 1+ years ago. that is why I am playing the version seen in the video.

You might want to consider doing some research about all the new nether features. But here's a couple bits of info. Piglins aren't quite the same as zombie piglins. First, they are obsessed with gold. They're also neutral. If you're around them they can be hostile unless you wear a piece of gold armor. If you attack one then they'll attack, and others nearby will also attack. If you mine any type of gold block like ores with gold or an actual gold block with them nearby they'll get upset and attack. They think its theirs. If you open a chest with them nearby they also attack. Even if its your chest they still think its theirs. If you throw gold ingots at them you can barter with them. Be sure to wear some gold armor around them when bartering so they don't aggro. If you come across bastion remnants those are like their homes. If you come across a piglin brute, which only spawn in bastion remnants they will attack you regardless of whether or not you're wearing gold unlike regular piglins. They're also like tanks cause they're tough. I may have missed some things about them, and there's a lot more to the nether itself, but i'll leave it at that and i encourage you to do more research and lessen the chance of getting yourself killed.

@@Swimmeron2 i figured you might want to figure certain things out on your own but again, i do recommend doing some research on recent updates such as all the new nether additions so you can be better prepared. Also, a let's play series could be entertaining.
Really enjoyed your video! I'd rlly recommend recording in 60 or minimum 30fps for gaming videos as 24fps is for cinematography type of stuff. All in all this was great! :D

those pig men are different types, there's piglins that's attacked you and the zombie pigmen that don't, and the magma slime is used for potions

A new armour: netherite.
Netherite can be made using diamond armour/tools + netherite bar + armour upgrade kit. To get netherite bars, you get ancient debris, a nether- theme ore found on y60 level to find Easily, try using beds or TNT. Or find in a bastion, they our found in the treasure room (the center) where all the gold are stored, and it's where you can find the armour upgrade kit, used to upgrade your gear, and you can duplicate it, by crafting it using the kit a diamond, surrounded by netherrack. Then if you get the materials you craft it in a smithing table, crafted by 4 wood and 2 iron. Use it and you got netherite gear. It's more durable and it can't burn in lava.
