Schauinslandbahn | Cable Car in the Black Forest | Germany

The Schauinsland Cable Car is located on the Outskirts of Freiburg im Breisgau in south-western Germany. It goes up the Schauinsland Panoramic Mountain with great Views over the Black Forest in Germany, the Vosges Mountains in France and the Rhine Valley between them. The Cable Car is the largest in the Black Forest and is the oldest Gondola Lift in the World.

Originally, I wanted to include Informations about some unique Engineering Features of this Cable Car in the Video, which mostly are down to this being the first Passenger-carrying Gondola Lift in the World. When I visited, I saw that they offer special behind the Scenes Tours so I postponed the Engineering Facts for a separate Video once I took such a Tour.
