damnit, as a VOD watcher I was so happy when he switched to youtube, especially because when he first switched I only watched him and Rae😭😭 I loved being able to watch earlier parts of the video while he was still live too to watch from the beginning (Edit: on his twitch stream it says he’s gonna try to figure out dual streaming tho!!)

If someone is live on twich you can go to their videos and the VOD is there updating every second. So you can rewind back while they are still live, but you do have to refresh the page so that it updates what happened after you started watching the VOD. While youtube you don't need to refresh. UA-cam is definitely better in that regard.
I had literally considered deactivating my twitch altogether recently before he switched back bc as a viewer, UA-cam is better by far. I bet Twitch is more profitable for him though based on that he said his contract for 2 years on UA-cam was more than what he made during one year on Twitch so it makes sense for him. I honestly don’t care about using the chat emotes at all. Twitch is broken too where their ads don’t run only once an hour anymore, it’s usually every 5-15 minutes I get ads and I will probably watch less streams now if it will be twitch only bc if I tune in long after it starts. I’d rather wait until the entire stream is over and to start it from the beginning since you can’t control the VOD like that on twitch or even pause it shortly.

UA-cam is not a streaming platform , period … it seems UA-cam tried to go that route by giving exclusive contracts to people like Rae , fuslie , sykk and lug. Can only guess UA-cam decided not to sign their paychecks anymore and allowing them to go back to twitch .. so yes , i do see fuslie going back to twitch as soon as UA-cam decides it’s not worth it anymore

I agree UA-cam is a lot better man in terms of accessibility of streams and it being available on more supported devices like Roku which twitch is not available for Roku devices in which I majorly watched is streams on my 32 inch TCL Roku Smart TV which is definitely a downgrade
I doubt UA-cam would ever put any focus on their livestreaming. They know what they are good at and they are only willing to dip their toes in the water with livestreaming.

This 1st stream back on Twitch was a vibe! 😁Everyone in chat was happy and spamming emotes. Hype train in his offline chat and people trying sus him out 😂😂 His OG oilers came back and made it rain to welcome him home. Most importantly Sykkuno wasn't stressed out looking at the chat every time he ded on a valo round. You can tell he's definitely more relaxed and less anxious in Twitch. No more toxicity bc he finally got his mod team back. Glad he's back.💪😁
A lot of fans saying the problem is UA-cam but to be honest UA-cam is very into the live streaming world. This could simply be that his content and of the group of creators that got the exclusive contracts simply didn't meet the numbers to have a new contract. Probably used the card "if you don't raise the contract I'll go back" and simply UA-cam said have a good one. Which makes sense. Its normal that creators with established communities are better on the platform they created said community rather than going elsewhere.
UA-cam is a lot better for streaming by the way and anybody who doubts it just doesn't get it and if you're basing just a chat alone on UA-cam then you really misunderstand and by twitch is not supported on Roku devices unlike UA-cam isn't is supported on Roku devices has smart TVs. I'm being able to watch the streams on UA-cam or a lot easier than twitch

@@ClayBenTreeceJr. Not sure if you misunderstood what I said. I said UA-cam is good as a live streaming platform and if I would say my personal opinion id say it's even better. But in reality not one platform is perfect for all. I can see why some communities don't translate well on UA-cam or elsewhere. So as I mentioned the reason for him going back can be one of three reasons. 1. He just wanted to go back 2. He wasn't a good fit for UA-cam and they wasted money on him and others 3. He maybe asked for more and UA-cam decided that it was better for them to look elsewhere and let him walk. He tried to call their bluff saying he was going to walk and they just opened the door. In the end it probably is better for his type of content and history to be at twitch just like others in their friend group. Sometimes a community is too deep that it can't just pick up and move to a different platform with a completely different culture. I do see twitch culture to be unique as well.

Because UA-cam's a lot more convenient and easier to use than twitch and by the way UA-cam is not restricted in some countries or blocked like twitch is and plus UA-cam is available in a lot more web supported devices than twitch is like Roku streaming players and smart TVs and also do you realize that his viewers that were watching his streams on UA-cam because twitch is blocked and restricted in their countries are now no longer able to watch his streams and also remember the fact that Twitch they shut down their operations in Korea back in February and people that were watching his streams on UA-cam in Korea are now effectively no longer able to watch his streams because he's streaming on Twitch now

I think he’s testing the waters right now.. I remember when he streamed Yugi-oh for like straight 2 weeks or 1 month his live viewers dropped to 1k-2k at one point he was barely holding 1k and was ready to drop 900+ the vod viewers would average 20k to 60k+ after 24 hours max then at the end of those streams he would always thank chat for still watching him. and at that point it all went down hill & he was struggling a lot.. Lethal Company & Nopixel 4.0 saved him Hopefully Sykkuno pulls an LK because despite pointing out that he doesn’t care about viewers anynore.. It seems like it does affect him in some way. Like how Ludwig & Leslie are super afraid of falling off. knowing how bad his stats are when he was as big as Mizkif & Nickmercks it’s almost impossible to go back with that unless, he pulls the craziest stream of the year.
Syk has never cared about viewers bruh. If he did then he would've played more marketable "streamable" games other than Elden ring in his first Twitch stream. He's never gonna thrive in YT bc he doesn't make YT videos that the algo likes. Unlike Fuslie, Ludwig and Rae who have hired dedicated people to make/produce videos for them using their "stream" content, Sykkuno never did anything different other than starting his pre-stream. I'd say his YT move was his bag moment and also an experiment if YT could actually be the next Twitch. Leslie made an entire company that copyright strike any clippers, had assistants and a team of people who she talks to when technical issues come up. Fuslie did the same strat that Rae did when Rae was booming, Sykkuno didn't. He even told the stream he's not like Ray or Leslie who makes videos. He just streams games. His new videos are there to tide over people who don't have time to watch full streams and on days when he wants to take a break, viewers have something to watch. Changing categories is not "effort". The way Syk did it is how he did it on Twitch "YOLO just start stream LOL." and it didn't clearly show results. He went from a solid 2.90m to 2.83m now slipping super fast bc the algo doesn't push out his vids and content no more. IIRC he only has ONE editor and ONE thumbnail artist on payroll. That is nothing compared to the army that Rae and Leslie have. (Obviously he's not a 1-scene streamer anymore but probably not as many as his friends.)

You could do that on twitch can't you? Just go to the vod and when you get to the end just refresh the vod and it will continue where you were.

A lot of fans saying the problem is UA-cam but to be honest UA-cam is very into the live streaming world. This could simply be that his content and of the group of creators that got the exclusive contracts simply didn't meet the numbers to have a new contract. Probably used the card "if you don't raise the contract I'll go back" and simply UA-cam said have a good one. Which makes sense. Its normal that creators with established communities are better on the platform they created said community rather than going elsewhere.
UA-cam is a lot better for streaming by the way and anybody who doubts it just doesn't get it and if you're basing just a chat alone on UA-cam then you really misunderstand and by twitch is not supported on Roku devices unlike UA-cam isn't is supported on Roku devices has smart TVs. I'm being able to watch the streams on UA-cam or a lot easier than twitch

@@ClayBenTreeceJr. Not sure if you misunderstood what I said. I said UA-cam is good as a live streaming platform and if I would say my personal opinion id say it's even better.
But in reality not one platform is perfect for all. I can see why some communities don't translate well on UA-cam or elsewhere.
So as I mentioned the reason for him going back can be one of three reasons. 1. He just wanted to go back 2. He wasn't a good fit for UA-cam and they wasted money on him and others 3. He maybe asked for more and UA-cam decided that it was better for them to look elsewhere and let him walk. He tried to call their bluff saying he was going to walk and they just opened the door.
In the end it probably is better for his type of content and history to be at twitch just like others in their friend group. Sometimes a community is too deep that it can't just pick up and move to a different platform with a completely different culture. I do see twitch culture to be unique as well.

Because UA-cam's a lot more convenient and easier to use than twitch and by the way UA-cam is not restricted in some countries or blocked like twitch is and plus UA-cam is available in a lot more web supported devices than twitch is like Roku streaming players and smart TVs and also do you realize that his viewers that were watching his streams on UA-cam because twitch is blocked and restricted in their countries are now no longer able to watch his streams and also remember the fact that Twitch they shut down their operations in Korea back in February and people that were watching his streams on UA-cam in Korea are now effectively no longer able to watch his streams because he's streaming on Twitch now

I remember when he streamed Yugi-oh for like straight 2 weeks or 1 month his live viewers dropped to 1k-2k at one point he was barely holding 1k and was ready to drop 900+ the vod viewers would average 20k to 60k+ after 24 hours max then at the end of those streams he would always thank chat for still watching him. and at that point it all went down hill & he was struggling a lot.. Lethal Company & Nopixel 4.0 saved him
Hopefully Sykkuno pulls an LK because despite pointing out that he doesn’t care about viewers anynore.. It seems like it does affect him in some way. Like how Ludwig & Leslie are super afraid of falling off. knowing how bad his stats are when he was as big as Mizkif & Nickmercks it’s almost impossible to go back with that unless, he pulls the craziest stream of the year.
Syk has never cared about viewers bruh. If he did then he would've played more marketable "streamable" games other than Elden ring in his first Twitch stream. He's never gonna thrive in YT bc he doesn't make YT videos that the algo likes.
Unlike Fuslie, Ludwig and Rae who have hired dedicated people to make/produce videos for them using their "stream" content, Sykkuno never did anything different other than starting his pre-stream. I'd say his YT move was his bag moment and also an experiment if YT could actually be the next Twitch. Sadly, YT decided to push for short form content over long form with their YT shorts effectively ending streamers in the algo.
Fuslie literally has to form her own company that auto copyright strikes videos so that the algo would push her content first before other clippers' videos bc clippers hurt her channel's growth. Game streaming in YT is ded

He has been uploading on YT shorts for months now and that’s trying to reach new viewers/to grow your channel, and yes he always made YT videos but I don’t think he has the time to edit those because, they’re well edited & that takes quite the time so it’s most likely he hired an editor. just like the Ludwig, Rae, & Leslie..
another thing, Sykkuno also made fun of either Leslie/Rae(I forgot who it was) for using categories in YT. Because he claimed that he doesn’t do that, but I started checking YT categories when Lethal Company came out to explore other streamers and I have seen Sykkuno’s stream in the GTA 5 category multiple times. the first time was when The Company was about to be formed and from there on when he’s streaming I would see his stream under the category. Either he did it himself and he was only trolling Rae/Leslie or it was his mods and Sykkuno was just unaware.. point is, Sykkuno did put effort into growing his channel. Not just from the shorts & YT videos but also by hiring people that would make streaming for him easier.
@@alex_b22904 Bro you can't actually compare the effort Syk did with changing stream categories to Leslie's or Rae or Lud. Leslie made an entire company that copyright strike any clippers, had assistants and a team of people who she talks to when technical issues come up. She made other Fuslie channels with probably their own channel managers and editors that push out her content in the algo which boosted her numbers a lot.
Fuslie did the same strat that Rae did when Rae was booming, Sykkuno didn't. He even told the stream he's not like Ray or Leslie who makes videos. He just streams games. His new videos are there to tide over people who don't have time to watch full streams and on days when he wants to take a break, viewers have something to watch. Changing categories is not "effort".
The way Syk did it is how he did it on Twitch "YOLO just start stream LOL." and it didn't clearly show results. He went from a solid 2.90m to 2.83m now slipping super fast bc the algo doesn't push out his vids and content no more. IIRC he only has ONE editor and ONE thumbnail artist on payroll. That is nothing compared to the army that Rae and Leslie have.
Meanwhile Fuslie's on an upward trajectory of subscribers bc she clearly plans out what she does every stream, just like Rae who has her own schedule of lined up content for her viewers to look forward to. Clearly just yoloing and having no set content on schedule does bad on YT. BTW all of this is no shade to Syk nor am I glazing Leslie, it's just numbers. Fact is YT is not built for the streams that Syk wants to do bc the algorithm hates it. It also doesn't help that the viewers in YT are just plain n a s t y to him.
@@zm6rnachrnau I don't know about now because YT hasn't been pushing his videos into my feed. I have to purposely go to his channel myself to see a list of new videos I haven't watched. But before, I would see that a few different tags were editing his videos. I'm not sure if that's the case now.
But yeah, he's always said he's a scuff streamer with only 1 OBS scene. (Obviously he's not a 1-scene streamer anymore but probably not as many as his friends.)
