Thank you for this - that’s an impressive set up. My three year old loves watching your videos after daycare while having ice cream - an I happily join him ;) Looking forward for the next building section 😊
This is by far the longest and most creatively brilliant Lego train set construction, the ballast, the effort, the time, the bloody tunnels! The money 😂, just found this and watched it with my 6 year old son, we take our hats off to you, subscribed and look forward to this absolute insanity growing even more. Best of luck with it.
An interesting idea might be a duplicated track larger tunnel that’s quite deep and runs under a significant section of the layout! It should still probably have one or two access pits which may or may not also double as stations! :)
Your idea is brilliant, I will keep it in my mind! 👍👏😎 And a complete double track is already under investigation, which could be the next fantastic crazy big project. 🚆🚆
@ Nice! A tunnel like that would probably also be best as a bypass route like if it went under the main hill of the layout and connected the two opposite sides of the main layout loop! That could also make it possible for the layout to operate as two separate loops when desired! :)
That is genius! 🤗 I will try to do that if the terrain allows me to build this. But I think its possible. I considered a while ago a larger bypass route already around the complete lower lawn section, thats an extra of approx. 100 meters as a giant loop. 😎
@ Nice! The biggest challenge would be to build it under the rest of the existing track but it could be possible if small sections of the existing track were removed and then put back after the tunnel trench is filled in! :)
Yes, but until I can start with that project I have to finish the main layout. The secondary tracks can be started to be constructed earliest on spring/summer 2026. 🚧 Its also planned to build the tracks a bit more comfortable with more space around some loops and walls. And all the tunnels have to be constructed completely new, so that 8 studs wide trains have also the possibility to run on the tracks. 🚂🚃🚃
Good question! 🤗 I think also from the cargo trains its the set 7898, because of a good battery capacity and it can be easily fitted with (better) lights. Its also a good train engine for the terrains outside, thats why I use two of them. And very useful waggons are in the set included. 👍 From the passenger trains its I think set 60051. 🚆
Absolutely! 🙂 I try to buy always cheap bargains on the second hand markets. Here in Germany its easy to find good sets, if you look every day. Even very rare sets are often available, but a bit more expensive.
Yeah, the weather is not good for a filming session. Always rain and much fog with frosty nights. 🌧🌫❄ Thats typical for this time, but it should get better latest in january. The concrete needs much time for hardening out at these deep temps. And frost is very bad, because it can destroy the fresh concrete walls and fundaments for the railtracks within one night. Luckily I could finish now the fundament for the new forestry and the power supply along the railroad. ⚡ And the Lego workers have ordered very heavy machineries for the next major project: the coal mine. 😎
Thank you for this - that’s an impressive set up.

Wow that's a nice addition to your layout
Thank you so much! 🤗
Just curious, which train set/model is your favorite? I own this green train 7898

How many kilometres are missing to the full track 😅
Thats a really good question! I don´t know... 😄 ___🚂🚃🚃___
RC LEGO TRAINS CITY
How much money did you spend on it, and is it still possible to buy such sets in good condition?
Absolutely! 🙂 I try to buy always cheap bargains on the second hand markets. Here in Germany its easy to find good sets, if you look every day. Even very rare sets are often available, but a bit more expensive.
👍
Wie lang ist die gesamte Strecke denn?
Ich müsste jetzt etwa bei 165 Metern angekommen sein... 😎

Well, I wait for Passenger Train on this track
Yeah, thats so true! 🚆❤ But the last passenger video wasn´t very successful and got not so much views as I hoped. Hopefully next time.... 👍
