Queen Chelsi - this is what I have been telling people for years, it looks like it finally fell on the right ears. These shoes were all made if vinyl and other strange materials. These materials are uncomfortable and damage your feet. Some people see the price tag and automatically say these shoes are fabulous and they are not.

I used to dress up in branded goods when going out clubbing or to bars with friends but what made me stop was I wore some cheap jeans, t-shirt and jumper that I bought from the supermarket to my mates one day as we were just chilling and everyone gave compliments on what I was wearing.... I never got them when wearing branded stuff so then I realised why waste my money on stuff people can't tell the difference to anyway.

Just goes to show how many ppl are materialistic and stuck on something being name brand, since they all loved the shoes when they thought were designer footwear. Even the quality of the shoe was considered great by one guy , Im sure that all changed once they were told it was Payless because someone who would pay hundreds to thousands of dollars for shoes will likely nvr shop at Payless. What they shouldve done was do this exact same prank & refund these ppl their money. But instead of letting them keep shoes that they will more than likely throw in the trash & nvr wear, donate the shoes to homeless shelters or give them to ppl who cant afford even a $10 pair of shoes instead of giving them for free to someone who could afford to buy whatever they desire.

The coolest think about champion is that they do different tiers of quality though. They have a warehouse that makes the cheap stuff you'll see at Walmart, Kmart, or Rue 21. Then they have medium tiers, which you'll see at Zumiez, Champs, or Footlocker. And their 3rd tier is primarily sold on their website. All the fabrics are actually made of another thread count, are higher quality material. I think that's something they definitely did very well. (Plus u can buy Adidas and Nike at Walmart too)
(I really dislike Champion, but they definitely played it smart, and they're a pretty cool company, I got a free reverse weave hoodie from them so I can't complain too much 😂 definitely a weird comeback.)

I think this might be an experiment to actually open a high end store and just put a different label on shoes, people will buy it they think it’s the new “it” thing.
It was really smart on Payless. I’ve seen shoes at payless that are really nice looking and well made others not so much, I just try to be discerning. Same goes with higher end stuff some are really poorly made and not worth it.
My mom taught me from early on to look for stitching, if there was any glue showing, discoloration, feel of the materials even in the same price point, how to spot the “worth it” items in any price point. Basically how to be a smart shopper.

I bought pair of leather boots with quite solid price but still nothing too costly or expensive. The brand is an unheard local brand and it was an average shoe shop but nice and neat. The shopkeeper is a moderate, humble uncle in tshirt with no extra polish on his presentation but the information on shoes and materials he shared with us was massive. At the end of the day, I knew I was paying for quality in fact I was lucky for the price I got on the shoes since the discount for purchasing it with another pair. I never go on branded stores except for SALE, in which I pick my material, design and practicality, as well as make it clear beforehand to store assistants what is my budget range. The assistants, on the other hand, need to present professionalism and good customer service, as doesn't matter a high-end store, I won't spend a second longer, rather would leave without any purchase whenever shop assistants dare to display arrogance to put prospect customers down only because they don't dress like a celebrity.

For the brand Cole Haan. I noticed 3 variations.
      1) made with high quality leather with nailed in sole made of leather. The stitching it well done and typically priced for over $120.
      2) the same identical shoe but made with cheaper leather with a glued rubber sole, it will still last a while tho and usually are priced at $50 - $90
      3) the cheap shit ross and marshalls sell. Feels horrible to the touch and seems like it will fall apart if worn to much.

Why are you all laughing !! You do the same thing everyday when you by Jordans ,Nike etc. All of these shoes are made in the very same factory . .in CHINA. It cost a little more than $16 to make and you pay $200.. Lmao.
The only thing your paying for is the Brand Name.
    JOKES ON YOU !!!!
