Synopsis
Nanu Ki Jaanu (2018) is a quirky blend of dark comedy and horror that follows the outrageous life of Nanu (Abhay Deol), a ruthless land mafia agent in Delhi. Used to bullying others and grabbing properties illegally, Nanu's world takes a drastic turn when he witnesses a young woman, Siddhi (Patralekhaa), lying injured on the road. Despite his efforts to save her, Siddhi tragically dies, leaving Nanu deeply disturbed.
His guilt and trauma manifest in an unexpected way - Siddhi returns as a ghost, taking up residence in Nanu's apartment! What follows is a hilarious yet spooky series of events as Siddhi playfully torments Nanu and his gang. From possessing their bodies to creating chaotic situations, Siddhi's ghostly antics turn Nanu's life upside down.
As Nanu grapples with this bizarre situation, he gradually realizes that Siddhi's intentions are not malicious. In fact, she seems strangely drawn to him. Could there be a deeper connection between them, even in death? As Nanu seeks a way to help Siddhi find peace, he uncovers a shocking truth about her death, leading him on a path of redemption.
