That trick with the feed dogs was so useful!! I also used to worry about unpicking an accidental fold caused by easing. But now I know how handy that subsequent line of stitching is to make sure all the layers are kept together! Crossing my fingers my next sleeves will turn out better now 😅🤞 Great video, thank you!!

Hi j. Without a doubt the best teacher out there. Great voice too. Some voices grate on the nerves and detract from the content. Very professional overall. Thank you.

You saved my life. I'm more than ready to give up as I simply don't know how to match my sleeves and arm holes because of the ease. Thank you, so much💗

You are amazing! I love how well you explain every sewing video! Watching your video on sleeve construction, basic principles and understanding the methods has helped me tremendously. I still have not been able to sew in the perfect sleeve, but after your patient and thorough instructions, I'm not quite so intimidated. Practice makes perfect, right gf? Thanks so much for sharing💕

Sewing the sleeve first then the side and under arm makes it pull through the whole side seem.
example; if you sew a long dress like this, when its finished and you lift your arm it will pull the fabric from the entire side of the bodice and skirt. where as sewing the side and under arm first makes the sleeve pull from the shoulder seem. so when you lift your arm it doesn't pull up the side seems.
i hope this makes sense thank you for the video ❤

I just gave up and made the gathers on purpose as design elements. They have to be the same on both sides but I can call it a day much quicker :´)
