Hmm…. Doesn’t seem user friendly lol.. I’m sure it’s not the first time you caulked anything before (you also didn’t have an easy “map”.. maybe some baseboards /molding would be a lot easier.. thanks for the review tho!! I was THINKING of getting one of these but after watching I think I’ll still go old scholllll 😂😂. They dooo make “better “ regular caulk guns.. I’m sure there is endless options. But for this .. I think $200 is too much.. I’m sure there is a learning curve like anything but given your experience level and watching you “get the hang of it” makes me reconsider
Okay, I gotta say those shears are freaking awesome. I never knew about those. I mean, pretty sure I've seen them before but always thought it was a regular ol metal shear and never gave it a second thought. Last time I played with cement fiber board I used a harbor freight mini saw improvised with a diamond blade and a 1/8 inch water tube (aimed at the blade) and tied to a hose to knock the dust down--with a sawsall and a carbide blade to get inside the corners. It worked well enough (minus the mess) but this is SO much better.

Milwaukee has always been geared towards electricians. Dewalt was more rough and tough power better suited to carpenters. Had a hell of a career because of Dewalt and they continue to make my life easier and able to put out high quality work. To each their own.
I ordered the DeWalt DCS498B on 11/30/2020 and it's due to arrive by 1/21/2021. Apparently, they sell out fast. I hope that's a sign of a good tool.

The key is no dust. Very nice to have when working up on pump jacks. No cords to tangle and works so well.
is this brushless?
no
How long does the battery last ?
A long time. I found the 2 amp ones were the best because they are nice and light.
