The portrait cake is actually better than I was expecting it to be, I thought it would look really terrible, but it's not too bad. ( I think that's meant to be a compliment!)
My wife and I discovered cake wrecks about 11 years ago. Comedic gold, even as a non baker. You know what would be horror gold? If you caked a facehugger from aliens cake!
I suggest making a wolf cake with all the little furs and details. It would be so cool of you actually pulled it off! But of course it is up to you. And I'm so exited that you made this cake SOO realistic. I mean the bubbles even! I love it.

I was right about the bar of soap being cake but I only thought that because I figured it was something you’d like to make. The bottles had a shininess that seems too perfect to be a cake but I did think the box was also a cake with printed edible paper. I suspected the wood base but it looked too real so I threw out that suspicion but it was cake! Wow, really well done

Excellent as always. Pine Tar is my absolutely favorite Dr. Squatch scent. The worst thing, cake wise, I've had happen to me was dropping my son's spider-man cake in the floor. Thankfully it was still in the container. I had to remake it myself in a short amount of time using a zip lock bag as a piping bag. I somehow managed to make it passable as looking the way it was supposed to. The things we do for our kids?!?
Oh my goodness! I am so happy right now! I have no idea if you made the wooden platter because of this or not, but I have commented that I thought a log cake would be cool. And now I have a log cake!!!! Plus soap! Again, don't know if this was the reason for making the log, but it makes me happy either way!
Yep, I guessed the soap as the cake. The bottled content was obvious due to the lighting. It was hard to choose between box and soap. I didn't even look at the bark. The bark got me lol.
I love decorating cakes for my family and I watch a lot of different cake decorating videos on UA-cam and my kids like to watch them with me, including yours. My kids have started assuming everything is cake. 😂😂😂
Oh, my word! I love Dr. Squatch products even though I'm a female. I use the more subtle scents. I have the soaps, shampoos, conditioners, deodorant and the toothpastes. Loved to see them turned into cakes. They have a chocolate scented soap called Chocy Milk. You could make your cake chocolate to the it in with the soap. Awesome job!!

I used to write happy birthday on cakes allllllll the time when i worked at baskin robbins, I 100% agree that writing with icing is super distracting. Many misspelled and fixed cakes.
You should try making a cake that looks like a cake. So you make a cake and then cover it and decorate it to look like a cake with exposed sponge on the sides. A cake within a cake
Lol the whole time I thought you were only making the soap bar into cake and when I saw the chocolate soap holder I was super disappointed, so when you were making the wood thing I didn't even realize that's what you were making until you started painting 😂
i knew the soap was gonna be cake based on the thumbnail purely because it was the more interesting looking thing there, and especially with the bubbles i 100% knew youd figure out a way to make bubbles for a cake. i didnt at all expect the wooden plate to be cake though
My son’s first birthday cake was on cake wrecks 14 years ago! I wanted happy birthday in green writing, but got Happy Birthday (in green) all written on the cake. In red icing. 😂😂 we thought it was hilarious at the time and still do.
