Missed an opportunity this summer, while in Tokyo, to get out there and paddle this great river. Highly on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing this peaceful and exhilarating outing.
Thank you as always! I'm sorry I couldn't get in touch with you when you came to Japan this summer. Please contact me the next time you come to Japan. Below is my Instagram account. Please send me a message. ot.camper
Japan looks like a great place to paddle. The big wooden boat was awesome! I have an old town osprey I just picked up and you are a great inspiration to me. Im trying to learn how to paddle the fun stuff!
Thanks for your comment! Thanks for rating my video. I am so happy! My canoeing experience is about 13 years. I had my senior canoeists teach me paddling skills.
@@TS-xj5mt In Japan "canoe" generally means "kayak". And the tripping canoe is called the "Canadian canoe". So in Japan the title of my video should be "Canadian Canoe".Unfortunately, Unfortunately, kayaking is a major and canoeing is very minor in Japan.
You ever come to Canada you can use my canoe for free if you can teach me a quarter of the skills you display in this video. I'm serious. It's like watching a virtuoso with a violin but with a canoe. Amazing.
@TS Thank you! I want to go to Canada! When I went to Canada 10 years ago, I paddled and camped at Tom Thomson Lake in Algonquin Park. Next time I go to Canada, I want to enjoy canoeing on the river. In that case, we will inform you.
OldTown. CAMPER I'm from Manitoba, a province full of rivers and lakes, calm and whitewater, every kind you can imagine that can go on for weeks, but I have canoed from Ontario to British Columbia as well but find the most wild and pristine routes in Manitoba. Both my daughters have travelled to Japan it's also an amazing country.

Thank you for your comment! I'm glad my video helped you. Have a nice canoe life!
You make it look so easy. Those are amazing skills. Thanks for the videos.
Thank you for your comment! I am aiming for elegant paddling. But like a swan's foot, the paddle blade in the water is busy!
Nice work!
Thank you for everything!
Nice! Looks like a super fun river. How was your camera mounted in this video?
Thanks for your comment! I put a tripod behind the canoe and shoot with GoPro.
@@canoeing Oh sweet. Any chance you could post a photo or quick video of your setup. I'm doing the Kootenay river here in Canada and want to film it.
Really enjoyed watching this. Thanks. Great skills. How long have you been Canadian canoeing, where did you learn?

It’s the same here in the U.K. kayaks and canoes very often get confused with each other.
@@iPatroni Thank you for watching from U.K! Also, I'm always sorry for my poor English. Please continue to watch my video!
What size canoe are you using?
My canoe is 16ft.
