I thought this will receive negative feedback given the fact na as Filipinos we grew up thinking na kahit anong mangyari 'family' is everything but I'm glad na people showed understanding and acceptance sa situation ni Sweet. Every family is different talaga. Some might tolerate kasi nga "family" but personally I'd rather protect my peace even if it means cutting-off ties from some family members extended or not. Hugs sa lahat ng nakaka relate kay Sweet! 💕 Laban lang! 🙏🏻

Maybe sa mga older generation ganun, yung tinotolerate talaga kasi “pamilya” nga pero yung mga newer generation talaga is di na ganun masyado ang thinking. Maybe kasi mas complicated na ang life ngayon? or yung maybe dahil they grow up na nakikita nila yung toxic family na they choose to protect their peace and mind their own business

I remember I approached him and Eugene Domingo in a bar around mid 2000s. I asked for their autograph kasi super love ko sila na comedians. Eugene was a bit reserved which was understandable since inistorbo ko sila but Sweet was very polite and even kind enough to converse a little with me. Thank you Sweet. 😊❤️❤️❤️

John Lapus' line hit me so damn hard, 'Yung masyado kaming bilib sa mga sarili namin na to the point na 'pag walang nangyayari na maganda sa sarili namin, na de-depress kami.' Super relate ako dito! I think most of us will kasi nga, we know our worth. We all know that we can do better things out of the ordinary. Hence, we can do best at it. I am forever a fan of these people I consider icons of the entertainment industry. For someone like me who's currently anxious, I find this vlog inspiring and kapupulutan talaga ng aral.

Sometimes helping our family is the best goal in our life pero minsan pamilya din ang naglalag saatin sa depression and to the point na kakayanin natin silang tiisin dahil sa hindi sila marunong tumingin sa lahat ng naibigay o naitulog kahit gaano pa kaliit. Tama po, nmatay mama ko nung 2013 kakagraduate ko lang ng college,may unstable job, nabuntis, at may kapatid pa na kambal na may autism at mdalas nagwawala 26 yrs old na ngayun. Opposite of Love is not hatred, it's Indifference. Feeling ko that's what Sweet is feeling now towards his family. Napagod na sya magmahal, magbigay, di sya galit, pero wala na syang paki. That's Indifference, yan ang medyo masakit.

On pag aaral ng mga pamangkin issue: I offered financial help sa mga pamangkin ko in one condition: They have to go to school, if not, I don't give them anything kahit piso. I stay away from them. Sweet has always been very vocal at reality talaga yung sinabi nya. I just hope na kahit na nagkaganun man ang family. I hope na never nya kinuclose yung possibility na magkaayos yung relationship nya sa family or yung kahit man lang maging Okay sila.

What an inspiring video! My message to John Lapuz: don't loose hope being single and getting old. Everyone will go through the ups and downs of life. I am 70 years old and still living independently with my 2 furry babies. I drive anywhere and buy anything that tickle my fancy. Like you, I never had children. I don't worry about dying without any family: we are going to die sooner or later whether with family or none at all anyway! Praying helps me cope with the reality of life. We can't complain neither; we are more blessed than most people around us! Keep on doing the activities that you enjoy, exercise and eat right! Having a partner or children do not guarantee happiness; sometimes being single is more of a blessing! Good luck fellow Thomasian; and may God bless you always!

nag papa salamat kami sa knya kasi tinulungan nia asawa ko mapa dali ang pag alis nia papuntang ibang bansa bago mag unang lockdown dito satin. Nagka kita sila nung asawa ko sa Airport nung time na yun at nag papicture sa knya, tapos ayun na tinulungan na nia at sinamahan pa nia mag ayos ng papers/passport. Super relate na relate ako dito kay sweet… almost same kami ng status sa pag iisip ganun din ako nag tatalo ang negative sa positive at sa pamilya. Dumadaan din akong church maishare ko lng kay lord yung iniisip ko.Although wala akong maraming kaibigan. So itong nararamdaman ko pala is anxiety and depression. Pero nasusurvive ko dahil sa prayers.. di man ako religious na palasimba, nagrorosary, basta I believe and have faith in god I survived. Thank you lord…

Grew up watching him sa mga celebrity gossips. Contrary today, the John Lapus i knew before was jolly and has the strong personality, yung tipong pag siya nasa isang room siya ung magsstand out for sure. I love this segment or episode po Kuys Ogie, it really shows the hidden sides of certain celebrities. Di ko lubos akalain behind those smile and jokes of Sweet may mga masasakit na karanasan na nangyare sa kanya. Kudos to him as well kasi amidst hose experiences he's still standing up. @@jundylebanan2862 ako, inalay ko buong buhay ko sa mama ko..lahat ng ginagawa ko para sa kanya alam mo yon..kahit gusto ko ng mag quit sa work kasi grabe na yong pressure pero maganda kasi ang benefits para sa kanya kaya 5yrs na akong nagtitiis sa work ko..pero at the end of the day, di pa din nya ako kayang piliin..ok lng tanggap ko nmn yon, pero yong ako pa ang masama sa paningin nya compared dun sa live.in partner ng kapatid ko na lage nmn syang inaaway..kaya yon, bumigay na rin ako..3yrs na kaming di nag uusap kahit issang bahay lng kami..hanggat pinaglalaban nya yong kapatid ko at live in nya, parang di kami maaayos 😩
