Richie finishes the PAINKILLER guitar solo while he's bleeding out internally, doesn't miss a note, then walks off the stage into a 10 hr surgery to save his life.... LEGEND ACHIEVEMENT: UNLOCKED!
He finished the rest of the song, while singing, pointing into the crowd and staying in character, he just couldn’t bow at the end. Literally the most extreme thing I’ve ever seen. Nothing comes close:
It’s just probably how they did the effects. If it was like what they did with video back in the day, they did the effects on top of the footage when transferring it to VHS. This is the the footage from the original film, so the effects are missing as a result.
I put a lot of time and effort into composing Priest songs into piano arrangements. It would mean the WORLD to me if you guys checked it out 🤘🏻 Long live PRIEST 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Judas Priest, PLEASE release the 3 songs with STOCK AITKEN WATERMAN. They lingered in the dark for 36 years now and all we have is one minute snippet of "You are everything" which his hunting and beautiful. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release them! The world needs to hear them NOW!!!
I saw them the day the first Persian Gulf war broke out in 1991. Dave Mustaine of Megadeth kept going backstage during his set and came back to give us updates on what was happening in Iraq at the time. It is definitely a show I will never forget. January 17, 1991, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
These guys created Turbo and Ram it Down right before this Monster and some people hate them back in the day but they've returned, stronger than ever..Fuel for Life! 🔥
Scott Travis is the driving FORCE of this song and album!!!! I remember back in the mid to late 80's seeing him in HAWK and than RACER-X!!!!!! DAMMM, those were the good days!!!!!!!
MY ears are still ringing from blasting Priest in my truck in the 80s with my Rockford Fosgate amp and Kicker speakers probably nothing compared to now but at the time did the trick!
I had a set of 6x9 Triaxles in a Caddy I had and saved them on a shelf for 35 years. I tried cleaning them up to put in my 66 Ford, which was new to me at the time. I screwed up when cleaning them and ruined one. So I begrudgingly drug myself over to Walmart and found the modern version, Quadaxles if you will (4th speaker inside cone and upgrade for sure), for 40 bucks a piece. I never felt more like a pack rat. LOL. I've thrown away a lot of old technology I had saved around here since.
This album is the Rosetta stone of Metal. As well as influencing a generation of headbangers, also I hear loads of late 80's and power metal influences.
In my opinion, by far the best album of all time. From the beginning of the album to the end, full of explosive energy and emotions that touch the heart. The production is excellent. Halford contributed fully with his voice and emotions with his masterful singing. Like the other members of the band, and o Glenn Tipton's guitar and not to mention, it simply "cuts".
My first concert was in 2017. I was 13 and Judas Priest opened for Deep Purple. I am seeing Priest again in October. Top 10 Metal band for sure. Hearing this song live is an experience.
When you go to Wikipedia and seek for Heavy Metal you should be instantly redirected to this video. It is the quintessence of this art form that we know as metal music. Still can’t believe Richie Faulkner played this flawlessly while his aorta ruptured. So happy he survived.

The quality is so defined you can see Rob's head veins while he's singing high.
Point of interest: During the intro Rob's blue eyes graphic was cut. Not complaining, just an observation.

I just listened to this while driving today. It's alright, no one was hurt.
