I don't think it was installed in a professional manner ,you could have connected the multi coupler which came with your harness to your ignition switch coupler and the white wire instead of cutting it . I was horrified to see the mechanic pry away the silicone water proof O ring from the coupler while connecting the lights to the harness
Super
Thanks for the video, very helpful! Please add the timestamps in the description. Kudos 👍
Thank you bro, glad you liked it
No required to disconnect wire, u can use ignition bridge connector.
Never knew that by that time 😂
Maddog Alpha are the best in budget
Yes bro , best and made in India 😍
How is the performance now, I mean it's 2024 now & u installed them long back.
That's really great info! Thanks for sharing this. I myself have got himalayan bs6 2021 last week and now looking for the things I can do, things I will need, places to go in hyderabad for such things. Thanks for sharing the head start things!
I had a few questions though:
1. Good ceramic/lamination stores for having a layer of coating on our bikes
2. Helmets we should look in for, the one which suits on Himalayan and are in safer side
3. RE panniers, how are they doing until now, and which top box have you installed, and why have you preferred them over the soft luggage setups
you can purchase PPF it's value for money
helmet: if you're into offroads go for (ls2, Scott, MT, bell helmet)
For touring: MT, agv, ls2
For panniers go for auto Engina Or rynox saddle bags which carry more luggage
Tank bag: rynox, Biking brotherhood
use one Jerry can buying two is a not a good choice (personal choice)
For side: viateraa trail pack it's really good worth the money
This cut was not required. Maddog provides a coupler along with wireharness pro that can be used with the stock ignition. The ignition and wireharness connects to this coupler and you achieve the same thing. Completely plug-n-play.
Perfect bro, this is what we are expecting here , we all were expecting this kind information. Though we see there is extra coupler provided. We don’t know how to use that . Appreciate your response bro. Don’t miss my next episode or videos on my ameture rider riding to Ladakh. With zero knowledge on what is Ladakh ride .
Best wishes for the ride, try to rectify this if possible, if the joint somehow connects to the frame it would be a problem. Also Royal Enfield people won't be happy seeing the connections through fuse box :)
The coupler has 4 outputs, red wires have direct output of 12v from battery (try to cover these two using sleeves if possible), black wire is power via ignition switch. the wireharness connector would go to any of the black terminal. Cheers :)
@@surajitberaofficial thank you brother

😅BRO UU ARE GEM OF A PERSON
Maddog is best compare to HJG. I installed HJG Mercedes in Himalayan 2022 model, initially I fixed this in fork but this was hitting fuel guard so I removed this and placed in fuel guard using customised clamps.
Bro as far as I know these lights must be below head lights as per rules.
Umm..u dont think jerry can would be required anywhere...only in manali to leh there is petrol problem...better use bigs which made for tank gaurd grill
Hi bro , Actually I have purchased that as well I’ll upload a video , you will like it bro , since I can use both
the wiring connections are ok no need to worry. Buy covers for AUX lights others wise police will fine you.
Thank you brother
I have purchased already brother
Are there any other premium INDIAN brand for Aux lights other than MADDOG ?
10:05 How to get this, is there offical dealer in India or we have to import by contacting any 3rd party dealer ? Is there any authentic website to buy these in India ?
I’m concerned about the indicators. Cut wasn’t required as couplers normally provided along with which can be connected to the ignition instead fuse.
What is the lumen number of Alpha lights ?
Are the indicators visible to incoming traffic now?
Actually if you notice very carefully then the indicator is slightly hidden but , I feel incoming traffic is able to recognize my turn signal so I guess it’s alright for me. I would say so far so good
How's Hjg lights performance in comparison of maddog
Hjg can’t be compared with Madog . Madog is built like tank it works anytime without fail and serves the purpose what it meant for so happy about Madog and now iam trying to figure out how to get this on a car 😂😂👍
@@GeminiMotovlogsumar i m thinking to install maddog alpha.
At what distance u can see clearly.?
How's the highway performance?
@@ashishsharma2700 100 mtrs no problem
THE ROUND DESIGN OF LEDS ARE COMPLEMENTING THE MAIN ROUND GLASS
Dude, 10k plus additional wiring + clamp + switch: we're looking around 14-15k, which is a lot of money. These lights better be good. Who's even going to buy those 38k aux lights?! 😂
I got his point about the fork mount, but considering the jerry can issue, any aux lights, at that place would still hit it ?
Bro, trust me this is really good bro, its our luck we are not able to mount it on the fork, otherwise this is the best in class aux lamp, it makes the road brighter as sun.olden days we spend lots of money and finally it will die when it is raining(sure this is not the case with alpha mad dog).
U should have got the square ones there are so many other brands. Which could have fit on the forks. I ordered one set from Amazon India. They have shipped to new zealand.
Tried all possible things but not working for me 👍 let us know for sure if square model works for you
"Baja" is pronounced as "Bahá " not Baja. 👍
Don't go to them ever again he did a lot of things wrong there was no requirement to cut that white wire nor fiddle with that connector of the aux lights. He is doing whatever he want coz you are not aware about those things
Perfect words 💯 percent
Haaaa it's opposite killer
Its wrong installation, he shouldn't have cut the wire
800 for installation 😯😮😮😒😒😒 .i have done at 350 rs. Its not that hard
They charged 1500 for me for fitting
Hi Naveen , where did you install? @ dynamics riders ??
@@GeminiMotovlogsumar yes
@@naveenkumar-ee7th that's overpriced and not even professional installation. They have messed up in this video.
@@GeminiMotovlogsumar 1500 is crazy high. With harness we can do it our selves.
That is very unprofessional job he has done. Sorry u should go to some professional auto mechanic.
Yes bro, I strongly agree . Recently realized after speaking with my friend about the wiring . My mechanic is not agreeing to work again since he is angry on me .
@@GeminiMotovlogsumar bro better to go Bangalore and get it fixed. please check below video once ua-cam.com/video/ES5V1CuOyQc/v-deo.html
Bhai sahab pehle camera opret karna sikho
Okay brother
Rename the video to how not to install maddog aux on himalayan. So sorry to see that the mechanic did a miserable job. You must highlight his store name and shame.
Bike has lost it's looks. Too much modification.
No I strongly disagree, I have installed what is important for Himalayan brother
