These were on Reverb in the US for $600 with free shipping a year ago. "Used Mint" - basically new guitars without warranty. Later went up to $650. I've bought white strat and blue tele. Couple months ago hit $550 for a short period. Amazing guitars, especially for the money. California Blue strat is available for $650 right now. I still beating myself for not getting HSS strat and Jazz bass when they were available.
The necks on these are fantastic for the money. The body wood is soft. I ordered a green one from GC in the states about a year ago and at some point during packing or shipping, either the guitar or the box was dropped. The bottom of the neck pocket snapped, pushing the neck and the wood down onto the bass pickup. I did return it, but the neck on it was good enough that I considered keeping it and either fixing it or using the neck on a new build. At this price for a MIJ Strat, this is a tremendous value, and these sound incredible and play great, so just be aware of what you're buying before you do.
I've had my dolphin grey telecaster for a year or longer. It has a permanent spot on my rack and became one of my identifying guitars. I like that the neck has no shoulder but it's not thin, either. The pickups want to feedback, they're pretty aggressive. The bang of rolling the volume pot up to 10 comes through the amp. Contemporary design, quarter-sawn neck, locking tuners... I don't always choose Fender, but these are underrated.
It’s infuriating to see all the “deals” each company has. I’m pretty confident these have been this price or less for a long time. Certainly not in my memory have they ever been £1299.
Black Friday is a scam. I love this channel, but I challenge anyone to show me a product - on any site - that is actually reduced to a price that it hasn’t been at before.
what i hate is that Fender doesn’t offer any of these models in a left handed version,we just get the same tired 🥱 old 3 single coil strat guitar 🎸 and nothing new,if Schecter can give us 2 different strat style models with a HSS configuration for under $1000 Fender should be able to do the same
The links don't work. At least the Telecaster ones don't. First there's a safety warning because of the viglink site, then the connection "refuses to connect"
@@davidf2281 That's weird. I tried it in Arc, Chrome, and Edge and none open. I even disabled my adblockers to see if that would work and nothing. Welp, it just wasn't meant to be, I guess.
Lots of ambitious new products concieved during covid are being liquidated for black friday. Cool guitars MIJ is always better than MIM, but fenders cheesy TV ads, and plethora over overpriced crap make it hard to buy anything with that label.
I always liked these and they're very nice in person, especially that blue - only a bit more than the player series at this price too. I'm holding out in hope that the Japan Juniors come back though but I'm definitely tempted!
It's unbelievable how Fender has devalued Fender Japan in recent years. MIJ guitars used to be relatively rare outside of Japan, and they had something special about them, they felt unique and played differently to other guitars. But Fender has pumped out so many of them in recent years, and every single one I picked up didn't feel great, and the craftmanship wasn't as good as it used to be, not even close. They don't feel any better than the lowest tier of Mexican builds now. What a shame.
I could not disagree more. Most if not all of my MIJ Fender's over the last 3 years have felt and played as good if not better than anything USA Fender or anything higher tier.
@@eternalforce116 Same here, bought a MIJ Monaco Yellow Telecaster with Anderton's on last year's Black Friday and it feels better than my MIM and similar quality to all american guitars I ever played.
Discounting junk that nobody wants. Its what Black Friday is all about LOL! No knock on Andertons though, all of the major chains in the crappy U.S do it much worse. At least these are actual Fenders!
While it's true that it's obviously excess stock that they're trying to shift, I think it's harsh to call Aerodynes junk. They're good guitars, just victim of the fact that the kind of person who buys Fender Strats has a strong leaning to the more traditional.

Yep, picked up a MIJ in a Hong Kong shop and the neck was wonderful. Hybrid model not one of these but I kept going back to play it.

I love my dolphin grey telecaster as well. I replaced the original pickups with a set of Twisted Tele's and it's hard to put this thing down!
Always been a great fan of a painted headstock🥰
Brought one years ago in red flamed top white plate beautiful looking guitar sounds great plays nice not seen many about with white plate
Fender MIJ TL62b 3tone burst is the best tele!
i have a blue one with a seymour duncan hotrail i had installed, things is awesome even if you wanna play some metal stuff.
I like the body color headstocks, very nice 👌
Babicz bridges are amazing. I have them in my strats and basses whole other level
These have been on clearance in Japan since last year. For less than 600 pounds.
Tax and shipping though
Obviously they’re cheaper in Japan when they’re made there!
I have the sunburst one. The only thing I dont like is the silver knobs. I think I will change them for black.
🔥🔥
Dodge and Plymouths had the same colours in 1960.
THANX for the heads up
The Edge of the Palm
or ridge...
Kind of feels like Fender going after the Kramer crowd. Probably isn’t but it really feels like it.
WOW - those Strat's look's amazing 👍
Can we roll back the highs???? ROLL THEM WAYYYYY THE HELLLLL BACKKKKK

Yep, agreed
Maybe not £1299 but this is still a pretty good deal for new. Used ones on Reverb and other places (UK) are not far off £799 and some are more 🤷🏻♂️
Im only buying one if it comes with alnico 45 Trumpbuckers
Jetzt hab ich gerade bei Euch die ML3 Pro X gekauft, auch HSS 😂🤭
Fire DW6900 G Shock Pete
Black friday is said to be Blues Cube Day...
If you put Texas special pickups .. you don't need more!
So tempted. Luckily the tele doesn't come in that bound green so my bank balance is safe for now.

It never held Jimi back, just string it up backwards and flip it over. Or learn to play the proper way.
Oof so hot. I hate that Brexit made Andertons a no go for the mainland, great f'ing deal.
even petes pedal board called in a half day
I wish the Tele had a belly cut for people like me who are built for comfort not speed 🙂
Too many twickies
Tele Deluxe 🎉
The links don't work. At least the Telecaster ones don't. First there's a safety warning because of the viglink site, then the connection "refuses to connect"
Both tele links work fine for me

LH maybe?

The tree's ready for choppin'! ...Buy from local guitar builders instead!!
At best you are drawing a conclusion based on anecdotal evidence.

People always need to complain about something. Were they too expensive and not enough of them made, people would be bitchin too😂
Painting headstocks is a sacrilege. :)
It never looks right to me.
