And have scents before I was ever out of college. And I can tell you the battle of the sexes has gotten a lot worse. The metoo movement has really split men and women apart. It had gotten so bad where I work that the company segregated our office work place. Men on one floor women on another. Most of the men were happy about it. Were the women went ballistic ! I like that she defends men but her stance on pornography is indefensible. Pornography has had an enormously destructive effect on men, especially since the advent of the Internet. And that doesn't even touch the issue of the destruction it's done to the women who are involved in it.

I like that she defends men but her stance on pornography is indefensible. Pornography has had an enormously destructive effect on men, especially since the advent of the Internet. Not from a standpoint of turning them into predatory monsters but in damaging their psyche. It totally rewires the male brain, often becomes addictive, and leads to men pursuing increasingly more disturbing content. And that doesn't even touch the issue of the destruction it's done to the women who are involved in it.

Thanks for not saying that career women are miserable because they never had children. Things, of course, are way more complex than that. Yes, I too hate 3rd wave feminism. Camille Paglia is very entertaining. Some of her ideas are good, some are just nutty. I enjoyed Sexual Personae, especially Chapter 1.

I love Camille but she lost a bit of ground with me when she said Nancy Pelosi should have run for president, so now I take what she says with a grain of caution.
The bias against men is even found in the Ontario Building Code, Div. B. A-3.1.2.1.(1) Group C recognizes shelters for women, but no shelters for men specifically. Men fit in the homeless shelters or halfway houses category, or something. But men's gender is not recognized as is women's. Not really a big deal I guess, but in a way it is.
