@ I doubt that in the real world you’d notice the 20ps difference and if Audi have got the same engine that goes in the Cayenne GT it’s a lot more linear. I really like the new styling and in Red it looks fantastic
I doubt anyone is going to use it offroad but, the available clearance with a set of aggressive Nokian studded winter tires would make it an absolute monster in the snow!
Nice subtle changes in the styling, the new rims, that chilli red is a pretty attractive look for it and I normally steer clear of red cars. Very nice piece of kit and a good review 👍🏼🤙🏼

It was about time someone mentioned how good can this be offroad with the right wheels and tyres. I think its also the best looking suv with the most relaxing interior. It can do so much so well.

What a stunning car! Practical, ridiculously fast, great to drive and looks & sounds absolutely amazing. There is no better sound than a V8 to my ears. It’s just that deep rumble that you can never get from a 4 or 6 pot. Awesome review Joe! 👍
The wheels look great, they actually look like they could be aftermarket with the nice concave look. Audi has some great models that I’ve been interested in but always been concerned about reliability issues. Sounds great though.

Hi Joe Great vid. I have an SQ8 and am getting ready to order the RSQ8 Performance. I love the Chili Red but think it’s a bit loud and a ticket waiting to happen. I’m thinking the Daytona Gray is a better choice. What do you think?
Daytona gray isn’t a bad color, but is completely boring. I have the RSQ8 in Matador Red and wished it was chili red. Buy a radar detector and go for the red:-)
I got mine in Daytona but then got a Stealth/Matte XPEL PPF wrap. Completely transforms the look of the car. Btw, the 2nd and 3rd screens may seem a bit dated but at least they are nicely integrated into the dash vs all the newer models looking like an iPad was just stuck on the dash. I am calling this PEAK Audi......and potentially downhill from here with slapped on iPads, more plastic ands tons of weight for the inevitable Hybrid version. Get one of the last pure models while you can.
I would love that machine but cannot afford the car and wouldn’t be able to afford the fuel it burns through 😢 For that reason it will always remain a dream car.
I’m a bmw fan but man…recently Audi has been looking great. Any idea how they managed to have a pure v8 combustion engine whereas bmw had to go with the hybrid m5 g90?
This is model is still based on the 6-7 year old Q8 platform, the next generation in 2026 ish will also (unfortunately) have a big heavy hybrid system too...
I love how time never stands still!! You can now rock up alongside a McLaren F1 in a massive SUV, and even if the F1 nails every single gearchange you're going to be keeping it honest. Incredible!!! ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Question how you compare Audi R6 versus the RSQ8? Being from the US I do have preferences of the SUV OVER THE WAGON. And the seat position of the RSQ8 is higher which provides a better front view of the road. But your POV is very important. Anticipated thanks for your response.
SUV on a race track always makes me laugh, they are not my favourite form of transport but at least it has an engine… hopefully it’s not lite hybrid. 😊
120k plus for another high speed box. Not practical or realistic for many car owners. It’ll drop 35-40% in price within a year. It does look good b,ut really!

The battery on my porsche gives me 50 miles in electric and a unreal mpg in hybrid
Same colour as my old 2022 RS6, best colour, mega, but would still take avant over SUV, just looks way cooler

Audi has achieved perfection in their Quatro system. Zero wheel spin during launch is quite remarkable.

What is so hilarious? Every kilo makes a difference and less weight is obviously better regardless if it weighs 2.3 tons.

Starting in 2024 all X5 are hybrid incl. the plug-in hybrid 50e
