I am an old man at 84 but I have been using a computer since Apple came our with their first ones. Now I used both but prefer the PC, though I do have an Apple pro, and iPat and an iMac. I am trying to learn how to use Instagram but I must be doing something wrong. I will keep trying until it works for me. I really enjoyed your video.

I would like to know how to remove the live stories screen feed on the right from my news feed on the left of my laptop I have a MacBook pro and find it annoying to have the split screens with those live stories on the right and my news feed on the left. Hi! Tnx for a nice vid. I have learned a lot. My big issue though is how to upload pics and vids from my computer to Instagram (new for me). I use GoPro and other cams a lot and shots vids and pics that I transfer to my computer. So, for me my mobile phone isn´t the main tool as for most people. Is it possible to upload my films and pics from my computer? If not I find Instagram rather useless for my needs and activities. Thank´s in advance!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! from one New Englander to another (I believe I saw you were on the South Shore, but could be wrong ;-) ) I knew there had to be a way of finding comments easier than scrolling and I felt bad that I miss so many. I did not know about connecting my business Facebook account to Instagram to view and respond. It took me a few attempts to finally figure out that I had to shut off my two-factor authentication for them to finally connect, but as of right now it seems to be working! Thanks again for sharing your knowledge! .
A very useful insightful video. I have followed the steps and connected the two acounts, which was very easy.Doing this automatically updates your instagram account to a business profile, which I didn't realise, but its not a problem
Hi Sue, apparently in order to manage Instagram's comments from within Facebook I had to log to business.facebook.com, click on a link that said "go to new inbox" and then I could do everything either from business.facebook.com or from the usual facebook.com page Cheers Massimo
Hello...Great video. I have been using this method for a while now, but I am not able to go back and EDIT a post once it has been posted to Instagram. Is there any way to do this from your PC? Thanks, I did like the post. Just one thing isn't it redundant with FaceBook, Instagram, & then sometimes UA-cam? When do we relax or be present where we are and with people or family that are present? Just saying ... by the time we then check our email and snail mail I'm exhausted.
I always say, be where your target audience is and to just focus on getting great on one platform at a time. I mastered FB, then Twitter, then Pinterest, then Instagram.

Real groovy video, most of this stuff is a no brainer. You left out the one thing that i wasted 9 minutes looking for - how to find the info. to DM someone on instagram.
There is no option to edit the image as to realign up/down or sideways? I used to do all that by right clicking on the image and chose share to Instagram from the drop down option. but Instagram option has disappeared. anyone know how to fix it please?
Hey Sue B-loved your points on how to use Instagram in a multi-tasking way. I can use my phone to add pics or post videos. I'm slow in using my laptop to transfer pics to my instagram account. I've some important pictures to post, but not sure of all of the steps how to do this! Have you got a video with link that I can review? I'm a new author, have been savvy using FB and Twitter, but to grow my social media presence I need to use Instagram more and be comfortable with it! Appreciate your help!
When I'm on Instagram on my computer it takes me back to the top of thee page every time I click on a picture then exit out of that picture. This happens on Pinterest as well. Has anyone experienced this before, and if so, was there a way to fix it?
How would I set my profile to public on a PC? I only use Instagram for business, so no point in keeping it private. But since I'm on a laptop I don't seem to get the option of setting it to public.
