This man is proving 100% that supercars (not including r35) aren’t slow people just DONT heavily mod them like most Supra’s, R34’s, civic’s, lancer evo’s etc
The problem with supercars is that you can't mod them as easily as all the JDM's you've named. There is a ton of car builds, that cost a lot less overall than buying certain stock super cars and yet they can still stand their own against them. That's why we call them tuner cars, everyone knows that a stock r34 won't beat any stock super car from this age, but that's not even any achievement for a super car. It's a car from 20 years ago wich upon release used to cost less than half what it does now (45k usd). Even now it costs between 100k and nearly 200k less than a 2022 lambo huracan evo, it's only fair that you can modify it to the moon to compensate for that.
@@filipgaier4908 there's a video of a golf to the right that uses a diesel block converted to gasoline cos the head happens to fit. For a race that lasts seconds, an internal combustion engine is overqualified. Strap a water rocket to a shopping cart, put batteries and motors on a small car, anything is fast for the first couple of seconds ... or couple of laps. Anything works. 20 minutes later into the race... nothing works anymore.That's where racing starts.

Difference is there is a lot of potential with cars with 8+ cylinders. Evos and Civics achieving absurd speeds with just 4 bangers are amazing
@@filipgaier4908 after all this mods, the car base price no longer make any difference, a heavy modded supra for example can cost equal to 2 or 3 lambos, the rollcage at this point is hard, also the parts material used is more expensive from market than factory...
for cars like lambo that already came with reinforced structure, the bad point is that still need a rollcage, but is harder to place them because the base structure is already strong and need a lot of work to dig it...
but for small mods, and for who don't give a sht to what is safer, sure an lower can will cost less and will run fast as the supercars

What sheepey has been able to do with the stock motor is extremely impressive, all these shops competing makes a better show for us all.
AMS and ugr does the same thing with stock motors if you want them to just a lot of people that go through them want balls to the wall builds the owner of 1320 still has a stock engine in his Audi r8 he just had them twin turbo and it turned out perfect

@@freedomfox8183 I think its funny when "just Twin Turbo" ing your car isn't seriously modding it. In my World, putting twin turbos on an NA Engine is a major modification because of the huge amount of HP increase you can get from this modification. It's also not cheap to do a Twin Turbo Kit with installation and tuning. To me a "just" is like putting an intake, longtube headers, installation, and a tune on your car (and that will still cost a few thousand dollars on a Camaro, Mustang, or Vette). But I do get where you're coming from when making comparisons to crazy 3000 hp Lambo builds. It's all relative to your available budget.
It's all in the ecu like the £10k Syvecs ones. So many safety features and can cut engine as soon a something goes off.
@@freedomfox8183 not for the stock motor, they have the record for the stock motor, UGR barely touches stock motor cars and AMS seems to be working on drag racing with built motors, they are the best with stock motors easily. People go to them if you want to go fast, idc about hype and all this, the numbers speak for themselves. But UGR an AMS are great shops as well

It’s incredible what these shops have been building over the years! I remember when UGR first started dominating competition at TX2K12 with their TT Lamborghinis.
UGR lambo’s are daily drivers, these are race cars... the moment u loose the ability to drive on the street legally, the car looses all of it’s street cred lol

10:36 I like how you can see in the graph that they aren’t even hitting full boost until 3rd gear. Insane horsepower that car must be making.
They tune it that way to help try and save drive train parts, and well, help it hook up....
if it was making full boost in 1st or 2nd gear it would probably be spinning the wheels all over the place
Even the Plaid Tesla does this , it doesn't use full power at the start to it has more grip , might have something to do with the stock tires tho
None of my cars (even stock ones) made full boost in 1st and 2nd gear. Probably why they dyno them in 4th.
In the mid 1970's I built a 1963 Chevrolet Chevy 2, (not even a Nova), with a shoehorned 327 and fender well headers, 13.5 to 1 compression, 2 1100 CFM Holley carbs, Weiand manifold, and a special one-off Crower solid lifter cam. We ran it up to 8500 rpm. We figured it had around 800 HP. and with everything stripped out it weighed around 2000 lbs. It had a 3.08 rear end which made it tricky to launch the car, but we managed a 10 flat quarter at 150 mph. I actually managed to get it street legal, but it couldn't keep a muffler under it, so imagine how loud it must have been at 7:00AM. Neighbors called it the Alarm Clock.

The quality of today's builds are sooo much better than earlier days that unless you go full bonkers, many of the traditional issues experienced with aggressive builds from even a decade ago, are minimized today. I say go for it Brooks....it will make for great content watching it unfold!

I wonder how many G's the driver is experiencing when he launches. That is insane how fast those cars are going.
Not that difficult to find out. Take any kind of acceleration in km/hr and convert to m/sc by dividing it by 3.6. Then divide it by the amount of seconds it took to achieve that speed and then divide by 10 to get the G number. A 1.6 second 0-60mph would be ~1.7Gs. So it's literally almost twice as fast as free falling

A parachute is always handy, just in case the disc gets too hot. There were multiple accidents due that. So it's kinda stupid. But well. Money is not a issue for them 🤭

This is really something! But, I can't help thinking, if we keep seeing these low ET's, we begin to get numb and the 8's will start to seem slow LOL. I remember running my stock '68 Olds 442 W-29 at the track in NY. and hitting a 15 @ 98 mph was pretty average for a 325 brake HP muscle car.
The quickest of muscle cars back in the day got into the mid 14ies ! They were not putting that much HP to the wheels. Anyone else remember the days when those cars were NEW and people were bringing them to the track WITHOUT mods? I sure do (O:

I get not wanting to go crazy with a build but these days just doing full exhaust and a tune on some of these cars is enough. If you did that and upgraded the turbos on the 765 it would be nuts

I used to think I built some fast cars in my youth, then the nineties ended and by mid 2000’s things were getting so quick out of the showroom stock and with minor mods you were running times that continue to get crazier and crazier. Never been a better time to be a car guy although I think I would’ve been happy in the 60’s too 😂
Edit: if my eyes didn’t deceive me I swear that Porsche Turbo S was actually front wheels off the ground not long before the finish. That car just pulls so hard anywhere in the rev range it’s nuts 😊

That roll racing type start takes the challange away. Need the tree man. Plus it takes mad knowledge to make the car hook from a stop. Cool fast ass cars though. Can someone explain the last race? The C7 was faster top-speed and almost .1 of a second quicker in 1/4mile and the announcer says “wow AMS quicker again!” How?

When I was a kid I thought how cool would it be to not just have a Lambo, Ferrari, Porsche etc.... but to then have one built with a crap ton more power and race them.. now people are doing it and it's frickin awesome just like i thought it would be. Wish I had the money to be doing it.

To give people some perspective a 1,000 CC sport bike runs pretty much 10.0 90% of the time if you keep the front wheel down so it's not slow by any means these cars are just getting stupid fast... I remember when I started driving and I had a car that ran 12s and I thought it was fast lmao bikes are the only thing I can afford to get that rush from anymore and those are not even stock anymore.. lol gotta love that rush you get banging gears front tire floating at over 100 .. nothing like it that I've found yet
For some reason the clip of the Dyno makes me think of the song "C418 - Biome Fest". I just picture the sound of the lambo engine fading, and the sound of the song rising and then I start getting teary eyed.
I find it amazing to have that many exotics in a home that doesn't even have a perimeter gate/fence.
