Great song revealing the feelings of so many in our society trapped in a sea of despair. Much of what is felt, the results of the lies life accuses them of and what they end up embracing. Dangerous places, dark worlds and reaching out for understanding and help. Well Done! Well Done Indeed~

It's like you know what having ADHD feels like.. it's what my life has been since I started Kindergarten.. Diagnosed at age 32 along with Autism, this song hits far beyond COVID times.. you have no idea how this hits the neurodiverse as well.. thank you for putting some of the thoughts into words and the reminder that even neurological differences are a part of being human..

GOD LOVES YOU. To be completely frank, I don't give a lick about what anyone thinks or has to say about it. It is true - no fauxpologies here. A lot happened, but I'll do my best to condense it.
I was lucky enough to experience you guys live for the first time at Sturgis during my first year out there (2021). I only went because an old business partner and good friend of mine got us a gig out there working at the Iron Horse. Everything was taken care of to get us out there and put us up in the Steel Pony in an actual room. Anyways, I went out there sober and working a 12-step program. I picked up about 4 days in and stayed out there for 15 days (it was supposed to be a 9-day trip).
Fast-forward: I ended up at the Buffalo Chip, and you guys were on. I was so into the music and the moment that I hadn't drank or done anything other than chain-smoke cigs(which I've since put down). The guy I was next to all night was plastered. After the show, he asked me if he walked back to Bikini Beach, where the food was, if I'd park his bike near there and find him(his buddy rode right next to me, they rode from Washington together). So I put the guitar pick on the inside of my hat and made some noise (he had a beautiful custom Harley bobbed out, I mean, it was shooting prolly 3-foot flames out of the chopped and wrapped pipes when we'd rev it up in between songs and stuff. IF you remember: he was actually the guy almost centerstage maybe 20~ yards out that wouldn't stop revving when you were trying to speak in-between songs and literally everybody got the hint and stopped and he just kept going for like 15 seconds. I ended up shutting his bike off i think lmfao). So fast-forward roughly a week I had camped with people I was partying with and ended up at Bikini Beach after everyone left, I was sitting by the spring weighing my options, sure enough, two guys walked up. I offered them some of whatever drugs I had, but they just said no and jumped in and started hooting and hollering and having fun. Next thing you knew, a whole van full of people were there partying but with no booze or drugs. We got to talking, and they were a discipleship group. I went with them, prayed, rested one night, they invited me on the road with them they're a working discipleship that does events but is really strict so I kicked rocks. The first few days I was sober were fine. From the day i picked up on through the trip I: got myself kicked out of the Steel Pony, cheated on my fiance, fought with my friend I went out there with, fought with a stranger, lost sentimental, invaluable stuff, ended up getting my suitcase and dufflebag stolen - I mean, you name it. I ended up hitchhiking back to the airport to get back home to Florida but that was a whole other story. Seriously I could go on for days about that trip. I'll conclude my wholesome, random rambling with this.
The energy and vibrations that you gift this world with have been an immeasurable rock for me to lean on. I pray for nothing but the best for you. As soon as I clicked this and saw the event on the 14th, I booked it. P.S. I've been clean for quite a while since. Idk why I just had to share this. I appreciate anyone who was willing and open-minded enough to get this far. Love is the key.

Eric, you are my North star. I know you know EXACTLY how I feel. You fight everyday and are so humble and giving to let all of us see it. I watched an interview with you. You were talking about while making this album you literally got in a closet so you could focus and how hard you fought with yourself. Thank you from the bottom of my broken heart for EVERY piece of music (yourself) you give us. #GETUP #BEBRILLIANT

❤❤❤ The whole world needs to hear this song! There is much comfort in the lyrics. I feel it will provide strength to listeners. Especially for those that have felt slightly awkward and kind of weird their whole lives!! Brilliantly done guys! I would love to see this one on a t-shirt similar to Atlas Falls.

It’s so true pandemic for me killed metal and physical health all at once. Long haul truck driver for 34 years pandemic hit. I drive for largest food company I couldn’t get home for over a year and half and working scared to get out of my semi for the whole time. Long haul truck drivers are alone but add that with everything shut down not getting home.

When I go see this band I leave feeling back to life and renewed. Idk why just maybe my go to band in high school and the albums you could listen to entirely.... The show is amazing. Watch it on UA-cam or see them in person. To each your own but for myself.. I wouldn't see them 16 soon now 17 times without trusting music and words the band behind create. 🎶💯 Long live the day hope you fly too from the inside.!!!

Thank you so much for this song and everything you’ve done for the band you are a genius and sometimes that’s hard…all the thoughts going through your mind that I’m sure never sleeps. You are an amazing person I am so glad you have found the strength to bust through your struggles you give SHINEDOWN nation hope and strength keep up the brilliant that you are. This song makes us feel human and speaks to us in a way that is soothing and accepting. Hard to describe all of the emotions it brings. This whole band is so beautiful and special to a lot of people and has helped me overcome personal struggles not feel as strange as it is “ all just a symptom of being human” . Much love to you all❤💜

I caught you in Cincinnati a couple weeks ago. This song is dear to me because I worked the whole pandemic in healthcare, as HR. I did double duty and took on other jobs that we couldn’t fill due to shortages. But more than that, I was suicidal at one time when my exhusband left. He was my world. We were married for 25 years. Everyone goes through these feelings at one point in their life-it’s part of the human experience. So, thank you.
