Looking back, we really should have considered doing the Sunday Gulch Trail as well. I think we could've pulled it off. I guess we will have to go back! 😁

Been up there four times in my lifetime. Be sure to look for the container of Dr. Valentine McGillycuddy's ashes along Trail 9, west side at some steps. The doctor was the post surgeon of Fort Robinson during the Cheyenne Outbreak of 1877 as shown in the film Cheyenne Autumn. You might think it some sort of electrical box at a glance.
