Thank you! It was an earlier episode on my gopro7, and with the stabilization, it came out good. Glad you enjoy it. I have to do a follow-up for here (LT) and AOAA this summer.
I live in the Hudson Valley and this is the first real power sports park I’ve ever been too. Cut my teeth riding a Honda 420. This is the place where I learned to love this sport, so I went out and got a CFMoto overland 1000. Took it to AOAA and Lost Trails..Lost Trails is a fun place. Little expensive but I enjoy the whoops and slinging mud in the playground.
Yes, we started out at LT as well, and love AOAA. FRO was a good learning experience, and you'll find no other land mass that size for the price, but they increased the price and reduced the land and access, so its mixed for people who had memberships before the change. I miss my Honda Rancher 420, was thinking of getting another Honda ATV, currently riding a Talon 1000R, she's a bit big.
Yes, you have to know the trails and just go easy, its hard. I think everyone has "Lost" something at LT at least once, just the nature of the Dunmore Hills. Thanks for watching, a new LT Snow Edition is coming tomorrow!!!
I just seen some boys and girls from New Jersey on my island, Cape Breton Island, they are boarding Newfoundland ferry. They're probably heading to the island for a great adventure on Newfoundland. We have some of the best trails offering weeks of adventure on both Cape Breton Island and Newfoundland ❤
Hi I’m new to trail riding..Im from NY..I’ve been to Lost Trails..staff are awesome place is good..what are the other place you mentioned??Nice video..Happy Holidays
Also nearby is AOAA(daily passes available~$30) FRO, Famous Reading Outdoors (Only tours $50 one time, no daily passes), and those would be the closest ones. You can also do some of the DCNR trails in PA if you are registered ($20 for 2 years for a PA plate), but check out all of our other videos, we visit neighboring areas and states for riding areas. Thanks for watching!
I would love to. Anything without width restrictions we could join you on? I know some are closed for snowmobiling season. Reach out to us on IG or FB The Beaten Trail LLC - would love to come ride!
Yes, I agreee. but I would say give it one more shot if they have 10+ inches of snow, its a different ride. The rocks are the worst there, but under snow, we had a great time. See the Terrabites in snow video, and I have an 1000 XP video coming on Tues or Wed, totally much more enjoyable ride!
@@d-nice2866 we’re talking like 1ft diameter rocks. Fun for a bit but not for miles and miles. You’ll know when you get there lol. Took my DRZ there and it was definitely challenging. Also very uncomfortable on a rzr900trail
Without major trail maintenance we probably won't be going back there, the rocks are simply too abusive to the equipment and passengers. It would make an excellent Jeep park as the rocks would then be fun but spending the day in a sxs just trying to avoid a flat tire or bent tierod wasn't what we were looking for. AOAA is a significantly better experience and not too far away.
We spoke with the owner who is running it and he has in possession some equipment to bang and bash rocks we’ve been trying to work with him to get a video done to promote trail maintenance so check back they’ve been working on some of the sharp rocks.
Wholeheartedly agree! AOAA trails were far superior than the Lost Trails. Plus our two day pass at AOAA was less than a day pass at Lost Trails! We will visit AOAA again, doubtful we will visit Lost Trails ever again
Went there years ago. Too rocky for me. I wish there was a place in NJ to ride. We used to ride in the State Forrest off of Rt55 in NJ. Loved it because no rocks.
I was speaking with Tony who owns the place/runs the place and he bought a new machine attachment which gets rid of sharp rocks. I’m trying to get a little more information on it and may be a video for you but I know they’re working to improve the trails there.
@@TheBeatenTrail Yeah smooth rocks are def better than sharp rocks for sure. Where are you based out of in NJ? I'm in the suburbs 10mins south of Phila Int airport. I go up to Famous Reading and AOAA every other weekend. Probably seen you guys there before.
We are in North Jersey, Morris county. Usually we're riding in PA, NY. We will be at AOAA again, we try and get up there for group rides, and we'll post the next time we're out there. We usually put up the flag on the trailer so people can find us! Hope to with you soon! Thanks for watching!
I have seen younger riders there, the website says: "You can be any age to enter and ride at The Lost Trails. We encourage drivers to follow the age restrictions for their specific vehicle."
its a shame we have so few places to ride in nepa. i have a house near Lost trails So many power line trails and state land that we can't ride ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::(
I know, its a shame NJ took all that tax money 10 yrs ago with Corzine, supposedly to open 3 parks in NJ, but the tree-huggers pushed them and the govt pocketed all the money instead of opening the parks. Plenty of places which are brown-fields or zones you can build on that people would ride on. Just a little topsoil remediation and it would be fine. Sad, but that's NJ and most gov't for you.
I went with a group of three ATVs and it was the worst marked trail system I've ever been a part of. Nothing made sense finally asked a random guy walking around in the woods. They need to do better
Been there many times. Too expensive IMO for the size of the park. I stopped going because the parking area becomes a zoo and the people who run it don't enforce their own rules. AOAA is a far better trail system, better run facility. It's also cheaper.
@@TheBeatenTrail Yes exactly. I would take my younger son who rode with me on my 2up Can am and it would cost me an additional $30 for a 9 year old to be a passenger. Honestly stopped going because the parking area was just getting ridiculous. People speeding, roosting, and just being idiots.
It’s sad that locals have to pay to ride here. I was 10 when I first started riding these mountains most those trails my family prob laid down in the 80’s. It’s def a good time I just don’t think locals should have to pay
We tried that at tower city years ago and guess what? A local got killed riding drunk and his wife sued. This began the whole episode which basically wrecked the riding there.
Yes, you can bring any machine that you’d like. I believe they have a listing for rentals up on their website as well if you’re interested in renting a ride there outside company that drops them off
What do you like the most/worst about Lost Trails? What do you ride there when you go to Lost Trails?
its on a mountain so pretty rocky. other than that, its great.
@@AdamEdward Every place in Pennsylvania it’s going to be the same way.
@@SD-ir1vf not true at all there’s some really nice trails in central-western pa. Lost trails is for the tourists 🤣 it’s a crap hole
Just rode over the weekend. Awesome ride and will be going back
I have to get back there again, my favorite aspect of Lost trails is when they do the night rides a few times per year. Always a lot of fun.
Great vid, looks like a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle.
It really is!
I go to lost trails a lot, lots of fun, scenery is awesome lots of rocks, very bumpy you can only go 10mph before you start to do damage to your bike
😂😂
This place is sick, I definitley want to visit now! Also very good job getting good clean footage.
Thank you! It was an earlier episode on my gopro7, and with the stabilization, it came out good. Glad you enjoy it. I have to do a follow-up for here (LT) and AOAA this summer.
I liked this trail, the sight seeing is beautiful
Glad you enjoyed it. It was peak fall color time. Do watch my “colors of lost trails” for more!
I definitely want to check it out this year.
We will. Maybe 20th?

845 💪🏼
Another plus for NJ residents. So many fireworks stores on the way home. Just hide them well underneath muddy clothes ;)
Very rocky here destroyed my beautiful sm wheels but it’s still fun.

Recomend Any place in Pa to ride that isnt so rocky??
@@bryancortes7557 check out dixon miller in the poconos. Atvs and sxs only but not overly rocky. We have a video on it here.

nice ride~! luv the tips and tid-bits you provide as well! (i.e. yearly fee PP ;) )
Glad you enjoy! Thank you for watching and commenting
if you guys think this is rocky you should try riding in New England.

I did like the view, and its close. It was too rocky for my son, but a good backup if I go with friends.
Agreed. I think since its close, they can charge the $39 pp fee.
We have gone there from time to time but too many rocks for my taste, I’m probably done with going there, especially for the price

We might take my Rzr 170 and Outlaw 110 there

There is a cost for daily or yearly passes. Anyone can go.

I wish FRO would bring back the daily pass option.
