I had a rough freshman year, alot of stress, relationship, school etc. I developed a bald spot out of no where on the top of my head. It would come and go depending on stress or anxiety at the time. Eventually hair started to thin and progressively fell out. Decided to cut it bald at 27. No history of baldness on father or mother side. I did see a dermatologist a few times during that period. Unfortunately in the mid to late 90s doctors did not label it autoimmune or due to stress. They only handed out topical creams or pills for fungus. Any young person reading this having hair issues go to a rheumatologist get your blood work done and then adjust your eating habits and take care of your emotional health.
