In two years from now, on Leif Erikson Day 9th of October 2025, the sailing vessel ''Restauration'' will arrive in New York harbour. Exactly 200 years after its arrival in 1825.

The voyage from Norway (Stavanger), starting 4th of July 2025, will be a symbolic marking of the 200th anniversary of the start of the great Norwegian emigration to America.
To honor those who left in 1825, to give their descendants something to be proud of and to make everyday life a little better for some of those who are refugees today.
We look forward to meeting many of you two years from now in the port of New York on Leif Erikson Day, October 9, 2025.
