      Little bit of work? The intake and heads and injectors can support 700hp at crank before anything is not sufficient. Delete cylinder deactivation and the vvt do a trunion upgrade just to be safe and be selective on the cam+ matching springs to meet your build. Apr head studs are a great upgrade as well. Get a tune by someone who knows what there doing and invest in long tube headers. Reliable, dependable and unless u choose a stage 1 cam your gonna be over 500hp with loads of torque. Plus that weight savings! Richard holdermeyer has great videos dyno testing various ls builds great info source where u can see how much each modification makes!

    I wonder if it's just better to buy a Dart LS Next gen3 block, about $4000, sure you have to buy the crank, cam pistons and a whole lot extra to build it but in the long run you can get a lot more horse power, plus you have a new block that doesn't have the design floors from the old block. You could buy a second hand LS block that's blown itself up for the ECU heads if they are ok and all the accessory crap. But your core, the block, pistons, crank would be all new, strong and hell and you have piece of mind. The second hand LS market for blocks is getting too expensive for what they are these days.

    • @Teysik
      @Teysik  11 днів тому +1

      @@tronwars7130 that would be a sick build, but it would be super expensive! The factory iron blocks didn’t have many major flaws.
