@@kevinblanchard9064 maybe she couldn't stay....or ABC couldn't deal with her being British...they almost said no to Colin and basically said Mike McShane was too fat.
@@kevinblanchard9064 probably would’ve required her to relocate from London to LA… and that just wasn’t in the cards for her. It’s hard leaving your country for another, and especially for work.
Although they were from the same filming, I thought one of the episodes was heaps better than the other. I think she was probably nervous because she was working with different people and to a totally different audience. I like Josie because she works so well with so many different people. I go and see the Comedy Store Players a fair bit, and she's still brilliant!
"you silly bitch!" hahahahahaha! and then when he get back at her for biting his finger by grabbing her boob. these 2 are the uk vers. dynamic duo! (us being colin and ryan of course)
I've seen a couple of scenes from those episodes - I didn't think she shined in those as much as she did in the UK. Perhaps it was because she was nervous about the new setting etc., but she didn't really get a chance to show her awesomeness like before. I would love to see the full episodes, if you could post them!
Yeah I agree with you. She seemed to have a bit of an off day with a number of the games when she guest starred on the US one, though theres this one Greatest Hits I really loved that she did with Wayne. But yeah, Josie is one of my favourites, and for my money the best female improv artist I have ever seen.
did he? I didn't know that. He did Who Wants to be a million heir with Channel Four's John Snow a while ago and you could see him start to come apart in the middle. I think he must have told John at some point before though because John was subtlety helping Tony through the program.
Ryan can't fly? He was on most of the UK episodes taped in the UK. I think the US version wanted an all-American line-up, and besides, Tony was suffering from bipolar disorder caused by cocaine addiction. He was already starting to break down in the last few seasons of the UK version. Notice his weight gain.
Here's an interview with Ryan and Greg. He mentions the flying in it... /watch?v=MsQzfZeLKZQ as a result of Tony's bipolar disorder he can no longer leave Britian, its a type of Agoraphobia. his is litterally afraid to leave his country.
Wow, Tony & Josie shared a crackling chemistry on stage. Its obvious that Tony was hitting on her. I have a feeling that Greg Proops was hitting on her as well. Who can blame them?
I have loved Josie Lawrence's portrayal of Lottie Wilkins in "Enchanted April" for 26 years. I came here looking for some more information about her. Her Wikipedia biography, while brief, is fascinating. From what little I see here of Whose Line is it Anyway, this isn't funny. I've wondered why she didn't do any more leads in mainstream films. If she did, they didn't come to the U.S.
mike morgan hmm, check out the comedy store players doing impro twice a week in London... it’s far from scripted. Whilst tv is a long way from live performance, these are the same performers. I’ve seen them lots over the years and can put my hand on my heart to say I totally believe it’s made up on the spot!
Josie and Tony were my favourites (sorry Greg I love you too but not as much) 💙
Josie's nose boop on Tony was the cutest
Love Josie so much! Whose line is my no 1 show ever and Josie and Tony were by far my fave performers. Both totally funny and totally gorgeous!
Josie Hotness Lawrence
😊
"Honey! Those are NOT cigarettes!"
"What are they?"
"Ah, uh, I don't know!"
We need to appreciate just how good the two of them are at singing!
LOL! This was hilarious! I loved Tony on this show, he and Josie worked so well together.
I really wish Josie was on the US version instead of the other girls they have on there - she stands up to the men easily!
7:42 is genius
She did one episode of The Drew Carey hosted version of Whose Line Is It Anyway. I don't know why they never brought her back

Josie: Tony?
😂😂😂😂
she seriously cant get any cuter!.. shes so gorgeous

love josie in this....defo think there was a flirt goin on between her with tony, gregg, and sometimes ryan haha
Tony is gay, so doubtful.
It's more of a brother/sister vibe for me. Both are utterly gorgeous though.
She always flirted with Stephen
@@samuelchampagne5031 Rumor is Josie as as well.
Massive girl crush on Josie

6:40. I love you, Josie Lawrence!
The U.S version needed Josie and Tony coming on much more regularly.
Tony is hilarious....but very English and I'm not sure how well it would translate.
He was dealing with some mental health issues & personal demons by the time the US version debuted so that may have been a factor....
Tony at 5:16, realising she wants to play dirty.
kisbie Who WOULDN'T want to get down & dirty with Josie?
This is fucking hilarious. They are brilliant. And this was awesomely entertaining.
Josie's wry smile at 5:45 is adorable.
Thanks for posting this! This pair was my absolute favorite!

"Oh look at all of the little animals and they're all... Dead!" hahaha Josie!
+djargus She caught something from Tony there, cracking up at the desperate madness of her own mind.
Classic Disney
"That's not pity, that's insult!"
...
"Pity me for I have just eaten my underwear D:"
lmfao Josie is halarious!!
"i don't know..take two mad cows into the shower"
I had a serious crush on Josie Lawrence since forever
MrMrwilson11 still have. She's absolutely gorgeous
weren't? thats american isnt it? lmao
chemistry reminds me of Colin and Ryan a little bit.
i have not laugh so much in ages

i was quoting Josie lol
thats what she says in a film and theatre styles lol
Wow so much flirting & more than flirting!
Tony was a beautiful man.
they're like the UK equivalent of Colin and Ryan. Love it.
The baby with cake on its head always makes me laugh.
Yeah it really is. He is getting better now though and he started to do some corprate stuff recently. nothing too big or too public yet though.

Glad to hear he's getting work these days! I hate to think he just sits around being ill.
i know right?
Omfg, at the beginning, Ryan literally sounds exactly like a guy I know.
What in the world is going on at 7:05? I wonder what Tony was doing from behind, if you know what I mean. Josie seems to like it.
That last one cracks me up EVERY SINGLE TIME!! :,D

@webeffect
The US Whose Line isn't a bad show, it's just that the censors make it so they have to do mindless things like that.
@ofcoursehesthefarmer
hey i wouldnt complain........................god look at wat the internet has done to me.
Wow, Tony & Josie shared a crackling chemistry on stage. Its obvious that Tony was hitting on her. I have a feeling that Greg Proops was hitting on her as well. Who can blame them?
Nawp it's the English because the host is Clive Anderson and the US versian's host is Drew Carey
He left Britain in 2002 to go to Asia with the CSP, that didn't go terribly well though... :/
That scene styles was fantastic
Oh, that's sad. Such a pity he wasted the prime years of his life.
Oops sorry hun, my mistake =/
Smug much?
Hate much?
OOH, I'LL GET IT!
I'm still mad Tony got away with copping a feel on Josie during Helping Hands
@Tsakurokur Tony couldn't be on the US version... he already went crazy by that time.
that was like watching foreplay...or should i say...four..play?
