In my experience, entertainers can sometimes (seemingly) overcompensate when they're offstage. Magicians and comedians especially. I have been really nervous before, so I'm not trying to be mean; I have been in situations where I am wound up with anxiety, which was noticeable, and I realize that my comment may not land as encouraging to some people. Still, I want to try because you, Matt Rife, are such a good comedian, and therefore I want you to know that when you're on your media tours, JUST BE YOURSELF. You don't have to impress anyone. You are on set because you're already loved by your fans. The individuals in that room don't expect a show, and if they do, they can buy a ticket. Answer the questions and lapse into your calm as you are when you're with your buddies on risky adventures. That non-preformative off-camera authentic you is intriguing, and it demonstrates an alluring well-rounded character. Wishing you all the best!
