I’m a 29 year old that grew up in the church and fell in love with the world and strayed away as a teenager. I recently rededicated my life to Jesus and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. I think Dr. Tony Evans is a phenominal pastor and teacher. I like listening to him because he has a way of explaining things in a way that you can understand and apply. However, I am left completely confused with this video. I guess it was way up over my head. I have never understood binding and losing. I have listened to other videos and they all agree that we DO NOT have authority to bind and loose. I am so totally confused.
I have heard people over the years say things like "I bind satan" in the name of Jesus. If satan is a spirit, how can we as human beings bind him" I've heard other terms like "I bind this sickness, or I bind this or that and loose this or that.
I don't understand, so I won't be binding and loosing anything. I will wait for God to reveal a clear understanding to me.
