this is common stuff at ion. I was playing hopper ball a lot with my pump and have gotten into similar positions.nice to see someone caught some of the other experiences of playing at ion other than the beach battles
TY, I used to shoot a Timmy. Ripper 2.5. Sick marker. I sold it to buy three other markers a few years ago. Always loved the quality of machining that goes into Bob Longs. People don't really understand how finely crafted they are.
There is no alternative. I just have to wear them when I must. Generally that is in a scenario game when I am forced to play for an hour before I can return to staging and stock up. However I do often sew single pod holders to the underside of my pant leg on the strong gun old side so that I can play from my knees without the pod inhibiting my body at all. It also provides a quick draw. I've also sewn to my left leg (off-hand) for a more economical draw. This means I don't have to give up my gun hold. It almost doesn't matter. I do have a video up in regards to this. I think you'll find it in my MOD playlist.
Yes, someone has having a hell of a time camping it up with very emasculating play list. It was funny in passing, but annoying at times. Fun overall. No complaints. But that's what these events are like. Players (usually small teams) that want to brawl, can brawl. Players or friends that want to cut loose, have plenty room for fun.
That freakin creek. I was leading a small group down that thing and was going to make an amazing push for the Allied around the Germans. When all of a sudden a group of players decides they wont go out, after i put at least 50 shots into each of them. I hate cheaters. Wheres the fun in that? Wheres the sportsman ship these days?
I'm a minimalist. I want as little gear and coverage as I can manage. But you make the point, what is good for one person DOES NOT NEED APPLY to everyone or everything. Too many people think they know it all, or their OPINION is fact. Do your own thing and if it works, no one can argue with you.
Guat, I'm sorry if the all caps came off as yelling. I think we had a misunderstanding there. I was using them for emphasis. Just remember, I try to reply to folks. I don't think I'm above anyone. Sorry for the mix up.
In this video the electronic board that operates my Dye Rotor (loader) had died. Dye did replace it at the event later. But in this video I'm using the thumb drive to manually drive the balls into the chamber. In this case, true one balling.
Sorry I didn't realize that you would look at this video so I commented on this one and then you didn't reply so I commented on your new video about the mic.
Ack... I'm getting trolled on my mic levels! I'll try and do better. I've had some audio issues recently and believe me, it's been driving me insane. I have to make tough decisions, when the mic fouls, do I shit can the whole video? I've had interviews with NO audio and those have been trashed. I'm aware, I'm attempting to resolve these issues long term.
@2:00 that guys ball fill is epic! :P

Thanks mate! You also said you don't like pod belts. What's your alternative?

is there no battery in the rotor?
Board was dead for some time. Dye has since replaced it.
was that rotor that kept jamming on you, really bad deal....
The Rotor had a bad board. Dye replaced at the ION for me FREE of charge. Damn good customer care.

It was a good game. But we were really out numbered as Germans and we got the shit end of the stick as far as the walk all the way back to air refill
It bothers me that the dye i4s are really small on you... Lol but that's just me

What are you doing with your gun every shot or every other shot?
One ball feeding the loader. The board was dead. I'm a one baller in general so this wasn't a problem.
Why are you constantly fiddling with the end of your marker? (Honest question - I presume it's something to do with an e-trigger..?)
