Shizuma and Nagisa are by far my favorite yuri couple. With Chikane and Himeko from Kannazuki no Miko following close second. The reason for Shizuma and Nagisa being my favorite is because of the chemistry they have. At first it's just simple teasing and flirting between the two then as the series progress they begin to fall in love. And because of Shizuma's past and the love triangle (Tomoe being in love with Nagisa as well) it just deepens the emotions between the two. Nagisa and Shizuma were simply meant to be. Hell, someday I hope to find my Shizuma. ^__^

No no I'm not degenerating yuri at all. I'm merely talking about how attributes of some male characters found in "straight" anime romances are found in Shizuma. So if there was any offense done to yuri genre, it was the creator of this series who done it.
