That thing must absolutely attack a log. I used to have a very nice 038, but a guy at work talked me out of it. Now my big saw is a nice old 032AV, even it is a beast. I can`t imagine that 064.
I only have 2 saws 371 husky bought 27 years ago never bogs for cutting trees and bucking and a echo 16 inch electric for limbing and to keep at the wood splitter for limbs and knots I missed . It.s a great tool not having to start all the time when you miss one .sube
@@mike-jc4wm Electric has come SO far and battery technology also,it’s incredible what’s out there now. I saw a BUNCH of places to detect going down through Stockton and Morrison but you know me…NOT smart enough to bring my detector along….😆 There were some really mouth watering little towns,I remember where they are…
@@outdoorsinthe608 Thanks Jeremiah! Yes, I can’t wait to take it out for a proper wood spanking! We really don’t have wood that’s big enough to justify this thing but who cares? It eats little stuff too!😀 It looks like you need another supply over there, getting a little thin in the wood yard!
Cool man. Are you still getting out detecting? I have an older stihl 043 in my garage. Just needa a new recoil. The couple times I used it, it was an animal of a saw!
@@MD-NWWI Hey thanks Greg! I’ve gotten out less than 20 times this year, with some things going on with my mom who is older and a knee surgery sprinkled in it’s been a little slow. My public sites within reasonable driving distance are pretty wiped out and it takes ALOT of work to scare up one coin. One of my great joys of this hobby was to go hunt, film and actually find stuff. I really wanted them to be of use to someone else but if I don’t have much to find it’s a bit useless. Honestly, I’m somewhat burnt. With all of the voices out there in the ether saying DO THIS! and someone else says DO THAT!….my own videos get lost in that mess. In other words, I don’t think they’re actually worth making. With just over 400 subs I’m not reaching much of an audience, and all that coupled with the aforementioned things…no, I’m not as active as I once was and enjoyed being. If new ground were to open up I’d be there in a second, I just don’t have it and don’t see it coming. I don’t want to be a wet rag but it’s all become sort of MEH. How about you? Still finding things worth finding and having fun with it?
@wizardsofwisconsin7400 yep we are still finding stuff. Mostly at the same old spots and a few new spots. I'm getting real close to 80 silvers for this year. I found a couple bucket listers. A Canadian fish scale and a barber half dollar. Also I joined a club and they have a few club permissions that they've hunted for around 10 years. Old boyscout camps! I had good luck there and once I popped a couple silvers out of a field that they all just got done hunting they were watching me real close to see what I was doing differently. I think they thought I was cheating lol. In a sense I was. The only guy with a deus 2. The one day I popped 5 silvers and 4 on another trip. Finally one guy asked me to help set up his equinox and he had his sensitivity at 15 and recovery speed pretty high. He popped 2 silvers in about 15 minutes lol. But yep almost another record year for me. Deus 2 has given me about 270 silvers after 3 seasons. That's pretty darn good I say.
@ I agree completely, the D2 is almost like cheating, they had good reason to be suspicious! I won’t pretend to know what it’s doing but I know that it IS doing it, and until a time comes where some other technology comes out that’s the machine I’m using when I do get out. And yeah, sens 15 with high recovery on the EQX ain’t gonna get you any deep coins, it’s mind blowing to US that he’d have it that way, but hopefully he learned something. Not everyone is into every detail and piece of information about detectors and how they work and all of the tips that might make someone more successful….but then if they don’t want to take the time to do that they can’t be surprised when they get their ass handed to them on a hunt by someone who does. Knowledge is power, especially in this hobby. Glad to hear you’re still doing well and have producing ground. That’s a hell of a 3 year run, there’s people who don’t find that many in a lifetime!
