Bought a second hand Alfasud 1.5 whilst on tour in Germany serving in the RAF. It wasn't as rusty as the Fiat 131 Supermirafiori it replaced! 😂 My Sud was an amazing car to drive and that flat 4 sounded sooo good. ❤
Just unappreciated. Sad. Mine has been in my family for 50 years this coming January and not for sale. It’s a lovely little thing to punt around in on rural backroads and brings back memories of my parents and the drives we went on all those years ago. Irreplaceable. You might have done better had you a certificate of originality from the heritage division of Alfa at Arese.
Oh no, not another great little Alpha that we here in the US never really had crack at. I have watched various shows on these with all the history of rust and praise for this wonderful car. The only thing missing is a black one on my driveway.
The best car in the world but also problematic cars, in 1971 Alfasud was the first premium compact cars in the world, a sporty car, a good value car, a comfortable and spacious car, a advanced car, a italian of absburgic old school (Steyr, Tatra Porsche VW) fantastic car.
Please…….it’s pronounced Alfasood!!! Not sud as in thud!! My first car was a white Alfasud TI. An absolute rust bucket, but it drove beautifully. I cried when it was dragged off to the scrapyard!
This show was a good watch but a terrible advert for UK classic car Auction houses! You'd be batshit insane to consider selling a car at one now! He lost on every one
2 days. Thankyou for cutting out the useless uninformative fake housing development for his parents out. That is one rare car - it went for a song. I would have loved to have it and a 1.5 not the very base 1.3 model. All you need to do to it to get as much HP as the TI is change the carburettor. A Class Act that car.
Rare car in that condition but money should have been spent getting it into top class condition. It should have been advertised privately then for just under £10k. That’s then the sort of car someone who had one 40 years ago would pay top money for. Lovely driving cars. I sold them when new and then built up a special black ti 3door for my mum with alloys, sunroof, momo Cavalino steering wheel, Ziebarted, Blaupunkt, which was then stolen from a garage.
@@nicksmith4361 It was a great driving car with a great engine. This show is all fake. He doesn't do one ar after another. TV has bought ALL the cars and he works and films as and when he gets parts. This one needed so little ... Amazing. They don't care about the selling price. It's the TV show that brings them in money. They do not have time to keep cars until they sell privately. In fact most og these cars have already been sold to other TV shows or TV presenters they know BEFORE they go on air.

The car stuff is great . The fake financial jeopardy regarding the house renovation is utter shit .
It's probably the only surviving one on the planet. You could buy it in the morning by dinner time it had rusted away.

Had the 1350 ti which was a fabulous little machine. Shame about the body rot but great whilst it lasted.
This was my second car in my life arround 1989 and it was always pure fun !
Had one exactly like this. Only problem I had was it’s brakes were rubbish. Would fade for no reason.
Alfasud the only car that rusted while moving 😂😂
Only one thing. It’s a Alfasud. Not an A, it’s a U🇮🇹🇮🇹 8:18 the man said it right🙏🙏
you had to be a hobby mechanic on the weekends to make it to work during the week 😂
Alfasuds are so cool

A visit to National Alfa Day of the AROC will show MUCH nicer Alfasuds and Sprints
The ORIGINAL hot hatch. None of that GTI BS

They are to be found in Italy relatively cheaply. Just takes money....
A hot hatch without a hatch - never seen one in person.
That went for peanuts 😮
Had a 1.3 SC 5drs ❤
I drove one in the 70s. Never had the money to buy one then and when I could afford one they were all rusty.
The best surviving Alfasud on the planet... Exaggerated, perhaps the best in the UK.

Pity the Alfa Sun is still not MOT
Surely it would of been better to do a bit more restoration and to sell it privately?. After the auction costs he made nothing.
What happened to Radford. Is this the same fellow involved in the collapse?
Is he going to honor his massive debts in the USA?
You should have kept it 😂
Just seen one of these go under the hammer on Bangers and Cash for thirteen and a half grand what’s going on?
Rust bucket, hey?
Shame they changed the original number plates
Purchased by The Crap Car Collective here on UA-cam
£4,000 you must be mad £400 would be about right, may be £1,000 if it was a runner
I sold those those in my youger years. Unreliable little beasts to say the least!

Spud
yes, just made the exact same comment then saw yours. Its an abomination to call it a sud.
you didn`t make £200 on this car, after auction fees, you made a loss!
This show was a good watch but a terrible advert for UK classic car Auction houses! You'd be batshit insane to consider selling a car at one now! He lost on every one
A 4 door not ti for 4000£!!!! Way too much
Hilarious whoever buys it big mistake will fall to bits soon lol
🤗❤️👍💯
Alfasuds were bad cars. Rustbuckets.
What a load of garbage raising money for the house. You can easily afford to buy a house for your parents and do it up 😂
Please please please - sood not sud.
Alfasud Is the Italian pronunciation
@Alberto-k6t the correct pronunciation.
