Sir ,the way you explain the content is superb. I have watched all the topics you covered and enjoyed it. I request you to cover the propeller diagram, how a propeller and a particular engine is selected for a ship. It will be very helpful.
Good day sir Sir having one doubt in safematic steering pls find the scenario below Both sterring gear motor is running systems consist of [L,LL1,LL2] alarm when alarm received in both sterring gears LL1 at this time isolation valve will close both sterring gear will continue running are any one pump will stop by any default function is sterring this is my doubts sir kindly clarify it .
Bada Sahab, Your way of explaining is all the way awesome it helping me alot, Bada saab requesting to you please make a video or session on "MANOUEVERING" "REVERSING".. thank you Sir ❤⚓🙏
sir, on your solas requirements for steering gear videos part 2 you said the safematic arrangement also should have 100 % redundancy for both the pumps.
I dont think so..Can you tell me (Time in the video where I have said)--safematic minimum compliance is 50% coz both the pumps acting TOGETHER should meet the requirement
Sir, If we have 4 ram and single pump is capable to fulfill the solas requirement. But now due to leak in line we isolate 2 rams. So now redundancy of pump will increase or its same?
Sir since can we not achive the same effect even if two rams are isolated as the work done under similar sailing conditions is same in both four and two rams. The increased flow rate, twicw in this case, in two ram case might increase the working pressure and hence create more torque.@@rmetcvideos

video last mein galat hai with safemtic system waala....bigger tankers need two pumps both capable of delivering 100% redunncy capability both pump side and torque side....

rams affect the Torque...Pumps affect the speed...If you loose two rams--redundancy from torque perspective is 50 %
