You are right dude, original version doesn't suck at all but Bruno Mars used a lot of people, instruments and electronic devices to tune his voice up; this guy Jamie Cullum is just using a simple drum set on the battery, bass, piano and voice and it rocks; to be honest Bruno's version seems to be imitating Sting while Jamie has his own style.
Great version of this, but I only noticed that in that key, it sounds a lot like Jamie's song, "Mixtape". Nothing against either artist, but it was just really noticeable on a recent listen-back.

Would love to hear Bruno Mars do a version with this exact bass and drum arrangement. Doesn't really suit Jamie's voice imho.
