THE SERIES FINALE HAS BEEN POSTED TODAY ON PATREON‼️ I’m so sad y’all😭 Join me on Patreon to watch the full length reaction + full commentary after : / evev ♡
My interpretation of Mazikeen and her soul is that she has already grown one. When she asked God to give her a soul he said he could not do that, I think it was because she already had one not because he could not give a soul to a dream that did not have one.
The thing that God said to Maze about " An Angel can have a child, the Devil can fall in love"- is almost exactly what Amenadiel said to Maze in episode 5x7 but Lucifer ruined it by telling her she was being silly cuz she's only a Demon. While I think the show didn't state it but she probably had a soul for quite a while now. Also I loved God's interaction with Trixie. ....and poor Dan!!!
You've been fairly insightful so far. The rest of the season pretty rockin'. The next episode is off the chains. I can hardly wait to see your reaction.
I think the message about “God’s” role in “this” series is that when he is 👆up there👆 he doesn’t answer directly and allows “free will” to reign. He is an observer and tries not to interfere with development, responsibilities, consequences…same goes with the angels and demons. I love that when he turns himself “human” for the day, he is flooded with all that we deal with and it gives him a perspective he never had before. Now, what will he do with all this new knowledge??? 😉 OMG I just realized what episode comes next! I can’t wait to watch that one with you 😂
It's also pretty clear that He likes to do as much work as possible up front and then not meddle afterwards. Like with angels self-actualizing and a demon growing her own soul, His creations are adaptable -- self-calibrating? -- so He doesn't _have_ to interfere later.
@@bigdream_dreambig I often wonder how that applies to the next season. Like did he set things in motion like the next episode for the outcome he wanted?
@@zemoxian If you assume that He's truly all-knowing in addition to being all-powerful, then He must have. Maybe Chloe's conception was the one and only domino He needed to knock over to get what He wanted. Of course, if He's _not_ all powerful, then I guess sometimes His creations must surprise Him.
i wish instead of God saying, "Can't She!?" to Mazikeen i would have liked it better if God had said this to Mazikeen.... there's a reason why I can't give you what you ask how can i give something that you already have had for a good bit of time. which it could have been the moment of the Halloween Trick-R-Treating episode when Mazikeen showed her true face to Trixie and Trixie loved it and after that moment that is where Mazikeen started to Love and Caring and protective in some sorts towards Trixie on Mazikeen's own personal accord.
You really understand film. Your reactions are gorgeous ...I keep returning... ...just watched from A Few Good Men, Alien and Interstellar by Christopher Nolan. You're on fire in this space Don't forget to credit the actors, but you do that too sometimes Don't know what 'Lucifer' is but your delivery on the movie reactions will keep me returning There's no one out there like you
To me, the moment Trixie walked into Lux and said Maze was her new friend back in season 1, that sparked a soul in Maze that's only grown ever since.
My interpretation of Mazikeen and her soul is that she has already grown one. When she asked God to give her a soul he said he could not do that, I think it was because she already had one not because he could not give a soul to a dream that did not have one.
Yeah. He says she's "perfect the way you are". Being a bit cryptic with no further context meant that Maze took it wrong.
(I think you meant "demon" rather than "dream"...)

Dan often gets it rough. And that one upcoming episode…
It is the first time that God understands what Lucifer felt.
My favorite part of this episode is when Maze realizes she has been growing a soul. She is crying happy.
On rewatch I like to look for signs that her soul is growing. It’s been a work in progress for years now.

One of the things I loved about Lucifer is that it brings up so many questions that appeases my existential heart

I'll bet God has one He- . . . Heaven of a retirement plan . . .
Jesus Christ you're gorgeous 🫠
I didn’t want to ruin it, but in the past few episodes. All the emotions maze felt, she would not feel with out a soul
SO CLOSE TO THE BEST EPISODE IN THE SERIES LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The next episode is so over the top!
