I think the strongest team right now Is Doble Aqua anemona+nimo+gouda And a bird with little owl, egg+black mail, and the hare dagger (that carrot beast card) So far this team can easily kill everything, everything, like triple poison, triple antennas +fear is scary, in fact there is a guy top 1# with that team in off-season and smashing everyone.

Im on the same boat, if anything im thinkiing that getting a not so typical axie at a good price could be a good idea since the top ones are getting nerfed, and one thats not great right now could turn into a great one raising the value but the reléase date for V2 is still unknown

It depends on your budget. for 0.3 to 0.4 ETH you can buy a top 5,000 to 1000 team or potentially top 100 if the player is very skilled for 0.2 to 0.25 a 2,000 MMR or beyond team. for 0.15 to 0.17, a 1,200 to 1,800 MMR team. for 0.12 and below, hard to find good axies but still possible to thrive at 1200 MMR if you buy the absolute bang for the buck ones. You need to be creative and be ready to compromise optimisations here. Research research research first, this is an investment and you can't go in this blindly and expect to have 200% gains in a few months if you buy suboptimal axies or overpriced ones. Look for people with knowledge and ask them, consult to them the axies that you will be buying and always get second opinions first before buying an axie. Edit: Prices in ETH are based on the current value, it may change overtime. but it's a good blueprint if you're reading this not far from the future.

I'm running a Disablesaur team, Bug with Sticky Goo, Parasite, Pincer, (Shiba or Hare). Budget bug that could work. Shiba is better. Go watch Parupiro and Elijahs Collab, watch parupiros videos as well. The main idea is to discard his cards and brickwall, while preparing for a full hand of the Disablesaur. Or an aqua with Nimo, Sponge, Dual blade or Arco, Risky fish will do. The main idea is to brick wall.

I used to play a beast with little branch as well, the problem is if my plant gets burst, my beast is wide open. My dream bug is with Anesthetic Bait and Sandal Discarder. But its freaking expensive. Some things to note : Tiny turtle might get rebalanced, but the key thing is the Hotbutt and kestrel so it's ok.

Could be circumvented with a ranged backliner, perhaps a bird with eggbomb to draw the gravel ant away from our aqua midliner

v2 is a long long long way away. s19 is what you need to keep in mind.

What team would you recommend for PVE and PVP balance? I only have enough to invest in 3 Axies
AAP, backline: cuckoo, sandal, koi, risky fish - mid: arco,nimo, bluemoon, piranha/lam, and plant. this is good and pve and also can reach 2k ish mmr.
It depends on your budget.
