THE NON LEAGUE LIVERPOOL - AFC Liverpool

- I visited AFC Liverpool in the North West Counties Football League. Inspired by Liverpool FC, this non league club was set up in 2008 to make football affordable for everyone!
Forget about Salah, Klopp, Anfield and the Premier League for 20 minutes and learn something about the NON LEAGUE LIVERPOOL!!!
#football #soccer #liverpool - Спорт
I had some technical issues with some of the clips that I had to cut. I interviewed two really nice lads pre-game who you'll see briefly in the outro. I'll come back and see AFC Liverpool again very soon!
Hi Sam there is a side called city of Liverpool fc too play in a higher league
Bury fc are in the same league as AFC Liverpool now could you come visit the shakers
Even as a Newcastle United fan me going to my local non league team Dulwich Hamlet is the best decision I’ve made as a football fan
Dulwich is miles from Newcastle that’s got to be 6 hours ? It’s five mins from where I was born.
@@luigijohnson8497 even though I live in South London I know how far Newcastle is I’ve been there multiple times
@@LiamK-ep6fs ? huh im sure there are more local non league clubs
@@LiamK-ep6fs oh I thought u lived in Newcastle and came down 😂 sorry misread it. Why do u support Newcastle family or fell in love with with the club ?
Thoughts on the Non League Newcastle Hanwell town Liam? Perhaps one day sam will make a video on this 😊
Edit update
17:08 time
Brilliant and interesting video as always Sam. Live locally and didn't know what the origins of the AFC stood for until this video. Another local club in the area is city of Liverpool aka the purps who were ground sharing with Bootle FC but heard they are now looking for a new home as well.
Are you going to visit the non-league Arsenal, Dial Square FC?
Yet another brilliant video.
As a local lad, Never seem them. Heard they were good but I was a cables fan who are decently old
Two great clubs!
@@FootyAdventuresYes one successful one historic bo5 Legendary
Be to watch cable but I go st Helens town to
Quality videos to watch pal , Celtic fan here but sometimes it's good to go and watch teams away from all the distractions, a like to watch bacup borough a club with it's roots in the community
City of Liverpool FC are another fan owned team worth checking out.
This. Especially given current ground issues. Would be a good video Sam as they'll be at Widnes rugby ground next I think and massive stadium for the level so would be odd but maybe a good video.
Yes that would be interesting. City of Liverpool FC actually beat my team in the FA trophy thus season and we are National League North
I have total respect for the people behind this club.
I actually have always been an Everton fan!!!!
BUT- of all the club’s Liverpool FC fans and club have always kept to the ‘Spirit of Stankly’.
So fair play to LFC.
Let’s be fair following a lower league and non league club is brilliant fun.
Again; well done to Footy adventures for promoting to the people and wider public that you can have an amazing experience at lower or non league levels!
Great video. It’s strange though. I was only wondering yesterday whether afc Liverpool were still going! Wasn’t sure if they had folded!
Another example of how “grassroots” of the game are growing and strong. Just like the lower league coverage you provide for the Scottish leagues, seeing the what is going in the English game at the lower tiers shows how much heart is still involved.
I’ve seen them play AFC Blackpool before. Would love to see a video on them 😎
Funny you met Ronnie Morans son, I went to his testimonial at Anfield when they played Celtic way back when he retired. Amazing atmosphere.
Fascinating! AFC - Affordable Football Club - never realised that, but what a great approach. Does any money at all filter down from the Premier League to this tier?
You legend
Great commitment midweek 👏
Yeah good friends,I have heard about AFC Liverpool before and they are going well in the English Ninth Tier football and hope to see this team coming up well, good friends!!!!LONG LIVE AFC LIVERPOOL!!!🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️
There is also City of Liverpool FC , a league or so above AFC Liverpool but I understand they are in trouble at the moment ?
cheers, thanks
Thank YOU
Maybe go and watch city of Liverpool formed in 2015
You should come to Witton Albion v 1874 Northwich Easter Mon. Big derby game
I always thought that pro clubs always had an amateur side too. Atleast many teams in the Netherlands do. a few years ago i saw Ajax amateurs play in the cup and i even played against the Heerenveen Amateur team. Badge, name all the same, maybe just same dated shirts
Ive seen flint town united play lower Breck last year good wee team
If you're interested many Dutch clubs have amateur teams connected to them like SC Feyenoord or Ajax amateurs. As far as I know they used to be the same club but had to split offer for some reason or other
Hey Sam do you fancy a trip to Cambridge? We have a City and a United.
1874 Northwich F.C. as well Sam. Two teams there so that story would be a good story to tell.
Nice video, Sam.
We both support Liverpool, Sammy boy.
i respect AFC Liverpool for their A = affordability.
£5 tickets only.
You should go to a fulham premier league match one day
Perhaps their home match to Crystal Palace of south east London.
Nice that Marine AFC to let AFC Liverpool to stay in their stadium.
Peterhead on the 24th this month and Nairn county would be nice.
3:40 because what he say and of the American market
i won’t be surprised if one premier League match in near future be played in USA, as they are hosting the World Cup in 2026 time too.
Chelsea v arsenal is a suggested match because how big them two are.
Hanwell town in west London if you do a google on them is the non league Newcastle Sam. 😊
17:08 should be nice
Fantastic someone who wants to come and see the "Well" out of choice
Another great vid! If you do find yourself back in Manchester any time soon, I can't recommend West Didsbury & Chorlton enough, they average about 700-800 and as the AFC Liverpool fella mentioned they're a fun bunch, some of the best chants in non-league 😅
Indeed. Burton Road beer is decent as well.
What other PL teams have baby club spin-offs (regardless of their reason for doing it)? City, MU & Liverpool all have them (Maine Road FC having the longest history having been established in 1955 lol) but do other clubs in England have them too?
Great video mate can you return back to prenton park (tranmere rovers ) as they are having such a good season as people would think they would get relegated as at the start of the season they were in a relegation fight but no they have made a comeback they are flying and people are talking about the possibility of getting in the play offs.
The new fanzone might even be open by then.
@@robshepherd3782 oh yeah can’t wait for that to be done that’s amazing I’m guessing your a Tranmere fan too ?
@@YnwaKop66Oh yes. I like to suffer. 😂😂 Never thought i would ever go to Wembley to see us in 1985. 8 times now.
@@robshepherd3782 yes hopefully another trip to Wembley this year 🤞🏻
While your in the area come and have a look at Vauxhall Motors fc and Cammell Laird fc
Now you need to do a video on the Liverpool in Uruguay
I've been there
❤❤
Thought you would of gone to rangers vs Aberdeen
Just a recommendation gigg lane is amazing great crowd
Good suggestion
Good to have bury back in their stadium 😮
And good of AFC Bury to gotten the promotion Last season. 😅
18:12 is the non-league Jamie Carragher 😂
Every season i do an afc Liverpool save in dootball manager and i take ghem to the biggest team in liverpool
Great to see socialism still alive and well in Liverpool. Shankly would be proud. 🏴
How long are you here for
I'm in sam you should go to o arsenal stadium & do a video 👍
What team do you support?
There’s City of Liverpool FC too
Can’t beat the north west counties. They play in the same league as my team (Bury FC) are now in after expulsion from the EFL.
Hi Sam good video. I'm an FC United fan and we don't consider them rivals.
Fair enough, thanks for letting me know. Hopefully they can set up a friendly in pre season!
@@FootyAdventuresI met you at the FC United game spoken most of the second half. Hope you are well mate. Love the vids.
@@FootyAdventuresCity of Liverpool is worth visiting (however ground issues). Probably be at the Widnes rugby stadium next. West Didsbury gets around 800 at home games. Crazy for that level so that would be worth a visit too mate.
Bald Allison when he's the spit of Pepe Reina?
I very much dislike their badge. It looks like they got Mao or Lenin to design it. All that's missing is the hammer and sickle. Are they out of their minds with such symbolism?
I'm starting my own club called AFCLFCFC.
You said beautiful plastic pitch, was that tongue in cheek or do you actually like it? I thought players hated them
And you only hear that term ' plastic pitch' in the UK,any pro clubs train and play on them with no issues. Anywhere else its called turf.
It's a failed club. No home, no fans. If they werent happy with modern football, they could have just supported an existing club like Marine or Skem.
Or south Liverpool
Good point . I mean in big Metropolitan areas you are spoiled for choice in teams to support at that level. Personally if you do not own or are not the primary lease or tenant holders at your ground you should not be admitted to the Leagues like NW Counties
As a life long commie I have to say how much I love that club badge. Mind you, also as a lifelong Tractorboy there'll only ever be one club for me. Lived in Largs for a wee while (see what I did there?) and look forward to when you visit the National Coaching set up on the outskirts of the town and the Largs Thistle ground not far away from it. Great vid again.
Marine have a great ground.
Love these clubs, they offer a cheaper proper grassroots football alternative to the coperate shit
