    Tumeric is so good 🙂 I make tumeric face masks almost daily and it's helped clear blemishes as well as brightens my face.

    Hi Cecil , I like your videos. In this video I want to give a suggestion to you, instead of using normal turmeric try to use Kasturi turmeric or wild turmeric which is really good for skin and doesn’t stain much

    After removing extract from double boiler should we let it cool down 1st to room temperature before adding glycerin or should glycerin be added while formulation is still hot ???

    This is just a question...I thought that the double boiler method is to keep the ingredients from direct heat am I correct? The way I see you doing it is killing the beneficial nutrients from the tumeric. Please correct me if I am wrong.

    Avoid using kitchen turmeric. It's for food purposes. Doesn't give much topical skin benefits while staining. Use wild turmeric instead. It's useful for skin only not food while causing nearly no staining.

      For herbal extracts, I normally use glycerine or ethanol depending on what I need it for. If you need to use alcohol, I do not know what you can substitute ethanol with.

      You know there is the special turmeric used in cosmetic formulations right, the one that does not stain the skin.

      @unique4532 Dear to the best of my knowledge, it cannot be dissolved, we just try to extract the benefits using different kinds of solvents.
