Many many things in life, parts of life and life in and of itself are global and why it's so interconnected. I have family in close friends here in Japan that are American and as well as back home east coast. So that said we have to keep in mind other parts. Yes ones country needs to come first, but if ones country consists of two parts (for me Japan and the US) then neither can be ignored.
