Saying that doesn’t change the fact that the flags are very similar in design and will be throughout the entirety of the game-not just when the anthems are sung.

One thing I'll say about Szoboszlai is that he is unlocked in the national team, playing offensively and often honestly wherever he wants, while for Liverpool he had to do the dirty work often and that exhausted him and it really showed in a few matches

One thing i dont agree is czechia, I really think that they have really really good team in every aspect, Kovar in goal, great defense with Vitik, Coufal and Krejci, soucek leading midfield and great attack with Schik and Hlozek, i think they can do really well IF the manager can do his job well he's my only concern.

I, as a French, would of course love us to win it, and it would mean Deschamps would have won everything with us both as a player and as a coach, which would be just sensational
But honestly we aren't starting the competition with that much confidence, especially in defense

Dont sleep on romania. I understand why you would think this of romania but they did face a really inform colombia and had a result of 3:2, which since the start of 2023 only 3 other country's has done, no other country scoring more than 2 against colombia since 2020. Since the start of 2023 ,Germany, Brazil, and the USA all failed to score, not scoring a single goal. so romania had a better performance than than Germany and brazil against colombia in the last year. Romania obviously went undefeated in their qualifying group, but also, since the start of 2022, out of the 22 games they played during that time ,they only lost 6 games. They scream of dark horse. The atmosphere created by the current coach since 2017 has been incredible, there's a great sense of team spirit that spills over to the general public. All the players refuse to elevate one over all the others for the media, they refuse to treat anyone like the team star. The people are satisfied, even if we flop, shit happens. The national team has been acting like one big family, and people are feeling proud and patriotic.

With Englands recents performances they were very poor against Brazil and Belgium but tbf missing Kane was the biggest factor and just proved to everyone how instrumental he is to the England squad. Like I like Watkins but I don’t think he plays as well as he plays for Villa when he has that England shirt on because the pressure is too much for him. Also having certain Chelsea players in that starting XI defo made us worse in those two fixtures.
Hopefully when the euros start England can go full force with their actual starting XI unlike the recent friendlies and show the doubters that they’re still in it to win it and bring it home.
Poor against Belgium is unfair to Belgium 4th ranked team. Brasil match was also tight they scored one goal. Kane is our key player I agree 👍 I predict full attack 3 or 4 goals per match

@@bonglesnodkins329 Nah attacking wise without Kane we’re still pretty bad as proven from the friendlies against Brazil, Belgium and Bosnia. As for our defence Yh it ain’t looking to great. Our usual starting XI defenders are already slow in build up play but from our recent game against Bosnia the new back 4 we had were even slower which is very worrying considering they might have to start with our defender injury crisis.

I'm English but I feel we are overdue a bad tournament which we haven't had since 2016. Yes it was disappointing to lose France in WC quarter final but they ended up as runners up and still had the core of the team that won the 2018 WC. Media hype never helps and I just feel it will be our undoing. The way some people talk it's as if other national teams don't exist. When England play a 50 50 game deep in a tournament we never win it.

15:02 That's exactly England's problem. They are possibly the most reliable in the world at beating lower ranked teams - which by current ranking is most teams. They rarely have "wobbles" like other teams occasionally have. But its like they look at the FIFA rankings table and have an anxiety attack if the team is similar or above.

Believe it or not, morrocans still bring up that FRIENDLY in 2023 that brazil essentially used their Olympic team and morrocans acted like they won the world cup final. My point is, I cheer for countries who deserve my support, so other than brazil. I think I'll adopt croatia as my second team.

That loss against Spain was basically the hangover game from getting Silver in the WC, and they were playing a hungry Spanish team that suffered an early exit from Russia (which Croatia advanced past.) The last time Croatia and Spain played, it went into extra time after Croatia was down by 2 goals late.
Sure, Croatia lost against Wales, but let's not forget they beat Belgium and *BRAZIL.* Oh, they also beat an extremely underrated Japan that beat both Germany and Spain.
Honestly, I think it's too close to call between the defending champs, a high power Spanish team, and the silver and bronze winner from the last 2 WCs. I hope it end up as predicted here as this will be Modric's last tour with the national team, but it's just guessing at this point.

Belgium should absolutely not be #3, they've never won anything but alright. Not saying they're bad, but definitely not that high. I'm just saying, even according to that source that people like to use, nobody should say Croatia is low. And if we look at recent history tournaments, medals speak for themselves.
I think they just need to stay calm and everything's gonna be alright. Portugal was actually my biggest worry of this tournament, so this feels good, this game is reassuring.
Honestly, the team does miss Rakitić and Mandžukić, but it's been making up for it with solid midfield and better defence with Gvardiol, and overall the flow of the game is more fluent and controlled.
I do think the biggest flaw with the team is capitalising on counter-attacks.

I agree with much of your first-round predictions, except notably I choose Turkey to be the obligatory surprise and finish atop Portugal. Also, I have Group B with Italy on top, followed closely by Spain and Croatia. In the semis, I see Italy beating Austria and England beating Belgium (who knock out Portugal in the QF). The final would be a rematch of 2020's and this time I see England winning.

I hope Switzerland does something similar like in Euro 2021 and I’m no Swiss but I love their football and consistency since the last decade.
I feel they deserve another good run and hopefully a miracle final four run though unlikely but I believe the talent is there.
You obviously got Xhaka, but guys like Akanji at Man City, Sommer at Inter, Schar, Elvedi, Frueler, Okafor at Milan, Zakaria, and even at the MLS Shaqiri.
They are arguably one of the most veteran teams that still has youth and continuity. Issue is I don’t like their manager Yakin since Petkovkc was their manager in their Euro 2021 run.
Petkovoc pulled football tactics master class against France and made adjustments so team could score goals against France.
This Yakin guy first of all has been arrogant for some ridiculous reason and his tactics seem like he brushes off opponents even better ones thinking they can win on talent alone.

I just want to see them get another chance at the knockouts. Also considering the video projected a potential matchup with Belgium, I’m taking Swiss over Belgium compared to others. I trust their experience over Belgium. Swiss are also kind of old tbh, but I feel they have enough experience and guys are in better form especially in the midfield and at the back.
