Dabo is not called Coach Swinney, he's called Dabo. Kirby Smart isn't called Coach Smart, he's called Kirby. Urban Meyer was not called Coach Meyer, he's called Urban. It's because coaches with uncommon first names can be easily identified by just using their first name. Not hard to understand.

Good overall analysis. I don’t think the sports media is really appreciating the massive upgrade that CU did again this year with the HS and college recruit additions. They have essentially rebuilt the Offensive Line with massive additions and added extremely valuable pieces to a defensive unit that wasn’t the weak link in 2023. This year’s defense will not face anything near the gauntlet of QBs they faced last year in the PAC 12. In reviewing the 2024 upcoming schedule 8 to 9 wins should be a realistic expectation based on the talent added.

Late season struggles seems a little strong. Their schedule was brutal: They played #10 Oregon, #8 USC, #23 UCLA, #16 Oregon State, #21 Arizona. All of those games they played those team when they were hitting on all cylanders. They lost 6 games by a touchdown or less. Seems like year 2 of the portal creates 2 deep that will win games and Buffs will ultimately transition to a more balanced High School recruiting and portal mix.
I hate that y’all ignore that not every transfer portal kid is a senior… you literally can grow talent from transfers who are freshman and sophomores

CU is going undefeated. Nobody in the Big 12 is going to be able to stop the BEST WR core in NCAA. RB room is crazy. The new O-Line is insane. The DLine and DBs are sick. They dont need Highschoolers, Prime knows with a more veteran roster, the next class will come easy. They are going to DOMINATE the big 12. Who can stop them at ALL? OSU, Kansas. They are good teams from last year but they will not stop CU. These teams are not bringing in real talent. Its win NOW. They are going to dominate NOW.
Get high schoolers who won’t play right away and end up transferring
Let’s not leave out the fact that the avg rating of those 6 high school recruits Prime signed is 91.46 🤫

The best thing Sanders did was go to the big 12, no top 10 teams, made it a lot easier to win.
As long as CU is viewed as an unconventional D1 program, they will have difficulty recruiting top high-school talent. I want to prove that CU football can coach (develop talent and make game-time adjustments). At this point, the program is viewed as unstable. But winning solves everything.
CU program doesn't have the money to recruit all these 4 & 5 star kids who will flip like a dolphin when more money from other schools are thrown at these kids just so they don't play for prime. I would hit the portal hard too and take the best upgrades I can get the big 12 is open anyone can win it this year.
