Guys I say "ctrl P"
NO WAY YOU ACTUALLY SAW WHAT I SAID ABOUT CTRL B AND COMMENTED THIS (holy shiiiiit!!!)
Hey, when i press automatic weights, it just brings up an error like "Bone Heat Weighting: failed to find solution for one or more bones", do you have any idea what thats about? When i rotate my bones, the model doesnt rotate with it
it is not working i go into pose mode i move the rig and the rig moves but its not affecting the charictor
@@MROCTAGON-uw7ry same problem
@@MROCTAGON-uw7ry u need to press g on the rig part
"Anything can now be your puppet, you're god now"
It perfectly describes how being an animator feels.
So basically I can make 3d models of women that I fantasize about and make them do whatever the fuck I want. So cool.
@@mainakbasu9740 I'm kinda scared of you 😓
@@mainakbasu9740 literally every animator that doesn't work for Disney or Pixar
@@mainakbasu9740 yes but if you have the skill, time, knowledge and determination to do so
@@notahuman-r4j i do.
This is legit the best way to grab the attention of 3D newcomers. I’m an amateur, and I know it’s way more complicated than what is depicted in the video, but somewhere along the lines of this process was where I started
Neat stuff!
The rigg tho... Makes me wanna cry..
dont decimate tho
@@BeastShadyGG yeah… it’s a nightmare
@Mark Aspen The documentation is a nightmare.
I learned rigging yesterday and it's just as easy as depictes in this video
Thanks so much, helped more than the other "tutorials" I was watching 😩
fax
Dude
He is to the point
I watched a 20 minute tutorial and this 40 second one help me more then the other
Its honestly insane how informative this style of tutorial is, watching Ian Hubert's lazy tutorials and shorts like this one have helped me so much
the phrase "decimate your model" is still so funny to me to this day
mfs after seeing the 90GB download size: 🗿
that seriously reminds me of the first crushed filter growl in "On Sight"
heckin *DESTROY* your model
Absolutely *RUIN* it
See that model ? F-ING NUKE IT
how is that funny
I love how even the shortest tutorials can teach you something, I was wondering how to toggle bone visibility
This is a work of art, I've hung it over my bed so I can see it in my nightma- dreams... in my dreams

“Happy man”
Me: ..ah yes!
that thing belongs in a indie horror game
@@qbofthedark3757 honestly 😂
Ah, that's how you know it's fictional
“Happy”
He does belong in the happy game yes
Short and straight to the point. That's how I like my tutorials.
With some explanation of course!!
Tsym!!!! just getting into 3d modeling and animation as a hobby so i’m happy to learn new things :3
keep having fun!
finally a tutorial that isnt as long as sonic driveways
122 and no comments?
Lemme fix that!

All the other tutorials were somehow longer than my
Somehow this 30 second short worked better than multiple 10 minute videos, thanks man!
Finally a tutorial on blender that isn’t a feature length film
donut intensifies
@@arishachoudhury_ NOT THE DONUT!!! NOOOOOOOO
i hated blender guru's donut tutorials, they were so long and i wasnt able to retain any knowledge because of that.
Thank you, you made it sound SOOOO MUCH MORE SIMPLE THAN OTHERS!!!!
This is great, the perfect tutorial!
*now everything shall be my puppet.*
To repeat the animation you can also press shift + e after you select the keyframe and click on cycle
I’ve watched about 6 tutorials, ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours long, and this is infinitely more helpful in less than a minute
This was the exact tutorial I needed, thank you so much for sharing with us
I love how this guy actually makes jokes and talks to the audience and doesn't use whatever clipchamp preset and royalty free beat. It makes it so much enjoyable to watch when you feel like their actually trying to communicate w/the audience
you saved me I'm meant to be giving in my project in 2 hours and I kept the animation part last and took me 2 hours to find a good tutorial so thank youuuuuuuu
This is genuinely one of the most useful and simplest tutorials I have ever seen
Gosh... I can feel the power of puppetry in my hands now
XD
I only needed how to make the keyframes, I am thankful for the quick and fast help
Keep the Great work up
I was going to bed but decided on "one more short"...
Needless to say, your "Happy Man" will haunt me in my dreams now. Thank you for this video though.
I feel like that thing would take my bones... Great tutorial, BTW!
“Your bones should be the lighter color” idk why that made me laugh so hard. I think it’s cuz every tutorial overcomplicates simple steps but when you dumb it down it seems so easy
This tutorial explained things so quickly that... I actually understood it! :)
Me who doesn’t even know how to make a character: ;-;
clearly youre watching the wrong video then?
@@scribblecloud she says that because Blender always starts us off with a cube. And as fun and clear as this video is, we don't know how to turn the cube into the smiling man because this video doesn't show how to make the smiling man.
i can help you if youd like, i enjoy making silly little characters
@@Eclendo i have gotten better at making little sillies now!! :3 thank you for the offer though that’s very kind
yeah same, but i only got blender about a month ago
This is my go to quick bone guide, cracks me up every time 😂
THANK YOU SO MUCH OH MY GOD YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE THAT QUICKLY EXPLAINED HOW TO GET MY BONES TO STOP DISAPPEARING
My one problem is I don't know where to look when I need to do something like making good holes ore this, making rigs and you are to the point and I love that simplicity is key
Can't believe i just learned more from this than anything before lol
This was really straightforward, quick, and helpful! Thank you!
Right off the bat, first mistake:
*DO NOT MOVE YOUR BONES IN OBJECT MODE*
It's important that both your model and your armature have their origin at the center. The Origin point is marked by that little orange dot. If you move it in Object Mode, it will move the origin as well. If either your model or armature are off center, it can cause issues during the rigging process.
To make sure your object has its origin at the center, press Ctrl+A in Object Mode, and select "All Transforms". This will apply the object's current location, rotation, and scale.
kinda but you can move your origin point wherever you want whenever it's necessary
Holy shit this actually makes more sense than any other tutorial I've seen for this, and in under a minute too
"You're God now!" is what I always think when watching blender character modeling and animating tutorials
Thank for the helpful tutorial. Unlike other 45 minute tutorial this one is under one minute
Other Tutorials: u need too name the whole thing on the bones and add a controll bone too idk I didn't waste ur time but set ur bones to bone-B
this was more helpful than the two hour long tutorial on animating in blender that i watched
how do you make your character floppy like in other projects
Check out my "how to make a happy man" video :)
this is gonna be sweeeet once i finish learning how to make the blender donut! >:3
Amazing
This has honestly taught me more than 40 minute videos
I doesn't know why but your voice is melodious that's make my interest in your video without know what you do😅
man ive been trying to rig a character for over a week! thank you so much for this simple video!! Ive finally figured it out lol
That's so cool to hear
Straight to the point, this really helped!
Most helpful blender video I've seen
thank you I just started on blender modelings
i love the enthusiasm, keep it up
"Every computer is different you dont want to start a fire."
Accurate me after attempting to render
My brain was exploding cuz i got a model but didnt know how to animate, and no tutos i found made me understand
Thanks to you i know now 🙏
I love this style of tutorial!
I was literally just about to look up how to do this, thank you
thank you for summing this up holy carp
This straight up taught me everything
If you use very low poly models or models with a weird structure and the automatic weights are not working right you can either edit the automatic weights by weight painting or what i do is parent using armature deform so there are no weights and manually weight paint the whole thing
For some reason when I click in front for the single bone I can’t see unless if I’m in shading so what do I do?
learned alot with this quick video this is amazing
another tip! you can do manual and use the mirror on top right!
This is better than all those hourlong tutorials combined
Great job, you really nailed that
Hell yea this guide is so quick and practical thank you bro! :)
that is actually the best tutorial i saw
bro this saved my life i was trying to rig a bear but the other tutorial was so goofy so thanks
