Great racing today! I got a casting just like the winner today (no spoilers!) in a 9 pack so of course no FTE's on it, but it handles jumps better than most other castings and is still reasonably fast. Not a great display piece by any stretch but still a fun casting.

More assertive tone and word choices in this episode, which was fantastic to hear! Also, you punched up the excitement well whenever a car missed the jump!
I heard "manage" and its variations begin to creep up again in the last two groups as they raced, but I also heard a LOT more of those active and dynamic words throughout!

And yes, I do have some "default" words or phrases that I habitually come back to, though I have been trying to not overuse anything (doesn't always work, obviously, lol). Part of it is how pretty much everything I say is off the cuff. Any of the commentary I make is done while I am watching the footage for the first time. I just felt there would be a sense of authenticity by doing it that way so it doesn't sound like it's rehearsed/scripted ahead of time. I also thought it could be a way for the audience to, kind of, watch it for the first time alongside the commentator as if they/we were watching it together.
The only thing I peek ahead on right now is the names of the vehicles so that I can look up how to properly pronounce them just in case I am not sure.

this may have been suggested already but why not add a running total of the scores after each race in the “Total” column?
would help us as viewers keep track of possible outcomes, and i think it would help you, less you have to keep track of on the spot. 🤷🏻♂️

Current commentator here. Are you referring to the commentator for this tournament or for previous ones? I have been providing the commentary for the last handful of tournaments. When it comes to the one that was doing it before I did: I am not entirely sure myself. I didn't think it was my business to ask. I just know that they were looking for a new one at some point. I sent in some of my voice acting samples/demos so they would know what I sounded like, and they gave me the job.
Granted, voice acting in general can be quite different from this kind of commentary, but this is a great opportunity for me to expand if you will.

Just An Idea. You Could Add Last Tracks At The End Of The Finnish Line. If You Want To.
Seems to me that having too much speed when you reach the hill is the downfall of many racers. So getting way ahead may be a disadvantage.
I agree, If a car goes a little too fast, it knocks itself out the road
In order to finish first , first you must finish. Definitley those that carry too much speed to that ramp are in a win or crash mode
