Louise learns how to drive a Daimler Ferret!

- Louise has a short, sharp introduction to driving a Daimler Ferret armoured car. She says she was terrified, but we don't believe her... she did very well, but chickened out when I told her to drive over a deep hole at the side of the road.

Brilliant!, glad to meet up with you both at the Plough At Eaves, a cracking weekend with you both.
Wish we could have brought the Ferret instead of the Landy, but a bit too far for the old gal! Great weekend, though!

Hi, sorry, only just seen this!
Before starting the engine select each gear in turn, but kick the gear change pedal half a dozen times in each gear. This will automatically tighten the belts and give good transmission and gear changes. From one who used to drive and then command them.
Good call, but I had done that before we started out that day so it didn't need it again.
Cause I need my Fffin glasses on ! I’m driving a fcking daimier tank. Lol.
It's not a tank, but she still calls it that... :)

You probably should have explained how everything worked before getting her to drive it.
She did know what the controls were and what they did, but not necessarily where they were, and anyway, where's the fun in that?

No, he's not that helpful, tried to get her to drive into a large pothole... got her home safely, though.
Flat out like a Race car
Flat out is 58MPH, but not for too long!
