Perfection as always! You're my go to for all tutorials.😊 I have a question I'm really in need of an answered. Why don't my rotary cutters cut? Especially on poly deco. I bought several. Last one were Westcott medium 45mm. . You just zip right through. What do you use? Maybe I need heavy, not medium Thank you in advance.
Hi there! I usually use a wood burning tool to cut my poly burlap mesh. Then I dot the cut edges with a little Mod Podge and let it dry for a few hours before use. That added step helps lessen fraying. Take care!
Is there any other place I can buy the burlap and is the certain name for it? Thanks! NVM I found this stuff on Amazon and it has everything including the flower in the middle. Is this something you sell?
I usually buy my poly burlap mesh from craftoutlet.com. While I don’t sell wreath kits, I do sell my finished wreaths on Etsy. Take care! www.etsy.com/shop/TheDoorDoctor?ref=dashboard-header
I love your wreaths!!!! So beautiful and perfected. I want to try this. Therefore if I have poly burlap mesh that’s 10.5x10, how would I cut it? I noticed you said cut 10x10.
I cut my mesh in squares so you could cut 10.5x10.5” squares (though I don’t think you’d notice a huge difference if you made cuts every 10”). Good luck!
Very good video. Easy to follow! One question, when my wreath frame came in the mail it had 4 wires on it not 3 Where would I start with this frame? Thank you
Hi there! When I have a 4 wire frame (my 12" frames usually have four), I usually place my outer row of petals on the wire that is second from the outside. Thanks for the question!
Hi Sherry! Yes, I have. I love rope for flower wreath centers. My favorite is this blue/white rope from Hobby Lobby (it's hard to find sometimes). But, I've also made some non-flower wreaths using Dollar Tree rope woven around a wire heart frame....simple and pretty! www.etsy.com/your/shops/me/listing-editor/edit/1031359429
@@ChristineFitzgibbons-ob4dw Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have had a hard time finding the rope at HL lately. It used to be with the ribbon, but not anymore. Your shop has some beautiful wreaths!
While I prefer poly burlap mesh for its thickness, I do use deco and fabric mesh. I think they both make lovely folded petals. This rose gold mesh flower I love is a fabric mesh. Take care! m.ua-cam.com/video/VTPFJYO4W9I/v-deo.html
You have the best teaching skills , love it!!
Very pretty and I love your teaching skills!❤
Very clear tutorial

I notice that you mesh is so beautifully cut with very little fray. Do you find it is just experience or do you have a secret?😉? Thank you again!!!!

This is beautiful! I do have a question. Would it work to hot-glue the felt backing to the back of the frame, rather than using zip ties?
Yes, you absolutely can glue it!

Thank you for your help😊
Love the burgundy color. Thanks for posting another beautiful design. Have you ever made a wreath using the braided rope like the nautical rope?

I have another question for you. Do you ever use a fabric mesh for your flower petals as the cost is a little better.
