The Congress and the Hindu right wing did everything they could to sideline and marginalize ambedkar. His political and intellectual work were deliberately ignored and his legacy was systematically dismantled by the political ecosystem. Their change of hearts and stances are a sign of acceptance regarding the importance of dalit voters who are stronger in strength and cohesion than ever before.
Without Ambedkar work, the dalits would be nowhere in today's India. The double standards by supporters of the ruling party, is so naked as many criticize Ambedkar's followers for idolizing their leaders, yet they themselves exhibit similar behaviour. Sangh Parivar's radical Hindu ideologies often clashed with Ambedkar's vision of a secular & egalitarian India. There have been instances where Ambedkar's effigies were desecrated by Sangh Parivar during their protest. Rather than holding leaders accountable, the majority of big media outlets seem to be focusing on worshipping of politicians in power. This is a change from the pre-2014 era, when journalists across the board felt empowered to speak truth to power without fear of retribution. Today, very few journalists can dare to question the top leaders or a pro-govt businessman. The present erosion of the press is due to the increasing use of certain agency to silence questioning. The current environment is of self-censorship due to intimidation.
Maybe, just maybe, one could gather courage to and ask this question to Ambedkar's followers who themselves have deified him . If people themselves want to idolise, political parties would.
This unnecessary idolization of Ambedkar has become too much to bear even for the most tolerant...he has become like Muhammad in the 2000s..u can't criticise his beliefs at all

Ambedkar's concern was not about the God, but rather how we spend our resources. He believed that enormous funds get spent on grand statues of leaders & temples.
Ambedkar always distanced himself from religious right wing organisation like Sangh Parivar & worked to eradicate caste-based discrimination & oppression. The basis for everything good in a free country are rights & protections for the powerless, voiceless people. @@xxyz2023 You are correct. Ambedkar didn't join RSS but worked on eradicating Caste by going outside of the social structure prevailed at that time. RSS also tried eradicating Caste but by being inside of the social structure prevailed at that time. This was inevitable because RSS was formed to defend Hindu society against atrocities of Islamists by making individuals with character. So uniting Hindus regardless of their caste was necessary and therefore breaking the caste system was also necessary. Reformation in Hindutva identity was much easier too compared to Christianity or Islam. This is possible in India because Hinduism is not codified in any scripts in a rigid manner. This is in contrast to Bible for Christianity or Quran for Islam. Hindus don't have a holy book and none of the scriptures that's dear to the civilisation even describe a term called "Hindu". Fastforward, Now RSS has cadres from all the castes. It's goals and activities always closely aligned with that of Ambedkar. RSS never oppressed anyone. Once communists, christians, Muslims were mentioned as internal enemies by Sarsanghchaalak. But as time progressed, they realised that ideologies and religion are more fluid than the time before. Therefore they revised that mentioned about those 3 categories. So at present, RSS has no declared enemies. But they will always stand against oppression and intimidation of Islamists, Naxals and mass conversion by missionaries.

Dalits themselves worship him. Political parties are only doing what their supporters want them to do.
Excellent. Who is the speaker?
Sir

Ambedkar rejected the concept of God, and today his supporters consider him as God! 😂😂
Your comment makes no sense actually

He believed that enormous funds get spent on grand statues of leaders & temples.
BABASAHEB AMBEDKAR IS SYMBOLE OF KNOWLEDGE.

Oh the great chota bheem ,may he save gorakpur
Ambedkar is one of the biggest icon of BJP. The words spoken by him about Islam were one of the harshest and accurate.
