I used to sing this to my bestie when she needed me for whatever reason,a few years ago before I had to move far away, we drifted apart and this song came up on my recommended today and had me in tears I sadly forgot about this masterpiece and wish I had remembered it when I really needed it after I moved. I came across this song and it fits me so well. I tried to end my life years ago by cutting my wrists, I had sent out text messages to everyone I knew. I was constantly sick and didn’t know why. Physically abused & malnurished by my parents, put into a foster home, ended up in a drug house, raped as a teenager, lived in my car, diagnosed with lupus and told I couldn’t have kids, almost died during a surgery and was in ICU.... a few years later and now I’m a mom of two little girls, almost a college graduate with 3 degrees & trying to make my dreams come true. Life can change & that in itself can be a miracle. Now I’m almost finished with writing a book about it all and this song is perfect.

I first heard this song in July '13, as I was preparing to make a HUGE life changing decision of leaving my life in California--moving to Colorado to get married and begin a brand new life. I felt this was the song that God led me to discover, and it confirmed my decision was the right one. 9 years later and having expanded our family to include a beautiful 5month daughter---life is beautiful and I'm glad I never doubted my decision--then or now ❤️ PS: my wife is hearing impaired and this song speaks for us all.

I was in uni accommodation at the time and every time my mum rang me, I was terrified that it was going to be bad news.

Yup, its me. There's a time when i want to let this little voices came out then after some thoughts cross my tiny brain, the voice suddenly gone and i dont have any courages to let out my opinion to people. I just think that maybe if i gave some advice they not gonna like it, so i just let them be. Or maybe they'll ignore me like im not there. Another negative thoughts was im not as good as them. And thats turn into a really deep thoughts. Then became a depression. This song made me realize there's no point at all if i still being a coward. Just let me be me, and them be them. Dont think too much or worry too much. Keep your mind and body healthy. Be happy, because being happy is not a crime.
