Today I was out with my mate Marty and we paid a visit to Marks and Spencers Distribution Centre in Bradford.
As soon as we turned up the whole place went into a total meltdown and locked all the gates letting no one in or out. There was truck after truck waiting to get into and out of the place.
Then the police turned up.

I very much doubt any of them work for m&s direct, they are managing the central stock and logistics on behalf of m&s. Gist manage their food warehouses and distribution.

Respect to the police man. If the person, who rang to police, said their is 2 men with cameras, they should be told, there is nothing they can do. But if the caller, is making up things, they should be do for it. I hope the the company, is paying, for wasting police time.

Shutting the gates and preventing the lorry from leaving was absolutely pathetic. I would gave thought common sense would gave kicked in. What do they think two guys with cameras are going to do? What really boils my piss is people moaning about others using their rights. The only ones to blame are the security and whoever told them to shut down the site.

I would say that someone on a public road in plain sight is the absolute least dodgy, i'm sure a criminal's objective would be to rob, so they would need to conceal their activity within a vehicle.

The reason why this was meant in a satire kind of way is because the quality of M&S is second to none therefore their prices are expensive or more expensive than your general supermarket or shop , it’s like a joke what’s been going round for years
about marks n sparks being a rip off
My own opinion is I think their price reflects the quality of their products , I buy quite regular from M&S but have to watch what I spend in todays climate

they comitted an offence by causing an unnecessary obstruction. There's a case on the books where a company gate man was charged as he wouldn't let anyone into the yard until he was satisfied, caused a long tailback of wagons on the road. Should have asked the cop to have a word..... and film it of course
Because the security and bosses have gone with company policy they fucked it up for all those drivers who are now in a massive queue and not Dj and Michael. It will take M&S a day to clear this back log and they fucked up the drivers working hours, so what a lot of pillocks they are.

I know nothing about the place, but I suspected that something like this would happen, as it's massive. It's the biggest M&S distribution centre in the UK, and one of the biggest warehouses in general across the UK.
The security don't seem that intelligent either.
If you're still in Bradford, check out *Mailways Packaging Solutions,* which has a 90% Eastern European workforce, who give themselves 3, 4, or 5 times more hours than the English people. However I doubt you'll see many Eastern Europeans in the warehouse side, as the 4 or 5 forklift drivers are or were English, while the Eastern Europeans are the factory workers.

@@MoontownMoss The *English* owners and bosses who work in the office, have made all of the *Eastern Europeans* supervisors, and the supervisors are in charge of sharing out the working hours.
The *Eastern Europeans* give the people from their own countries as many working hours as they want...
Whereas the few *English* people there, get given between 10-15 hours work a week, so you end up earning less than you would on Jobseekers.
When you complain to the *English* owners/bosses about the working hours being handed out to *English* people, they aren't interested, as long as the work is getting done.
They also advertise most of their jobs in *Poland* and have an in-house agency which takes a cut of everyone's wages.
Zero-hour contracts and in-house agencies should be illegal.
It’s bonded, therefore items that are stored there have not payed the vat or import taxes, it could be spirits, tobacco products or clothing, it helps large importers defer their costs due on imports until they are moved out of the storage and into the market. This may explain why these warehouses have over the top cautious staff. They really are bloody ridiculous closing those gates, stupid. What a bunch of mamby pamby security there, also the person who decided to go full lockdown for a A couple of men with a camera is about the most stupidest thing I have ever seen. It just shows the level of mentality there is for someone with a camera, really, zero logic in it. Just be warned though with that level of mentality it would not surprise me that if they can find out who you are and where you live that M&S would possibly send you a bill for the loss of service for the duration that you were there for. Can’t get through to some people PJ no matter how much you explain things to them, lack of comprehension is very prominent there. The police should do the employees at M&S for blocking the highway for the pathetic excuse they have done it for. Copper was ok and new the law and was quite reasonable compared to some. Keep the vids up PJ, partnered up with Marti quite well.

When GXO took over warehouse I delivered to at Warrington & Leicester, there were large traffic queues of hgv's up road, because of poor management.

The cop seems to be a good one. Knows the law. I suppose he could have gone down the aggravated trespass law if they are trespassing. But the problem is self Imposed by M&S.
Good policeman, he should train others, relaxed professional legal interaction with a member of the public, not like that female inspector at a police station on another UK auditing channel.

Shouldn't bother anyway. I was an engineer in the food industry for 15 years. A products go down the lines and is packaged for competitors. Then once done the packaging changes to M&S the same product goes down the line. Nothing changed except the packaging and the price not the product

The cop who turns up does his best but seems a bit disappointed when you won't tell him your names, he says he is there for the trespass when he knows that is just a civil matter, but should understand that you are not trespassing at all anyway, the site is wide open and the implied access is indisputable, he should really be going to correct the security goons at the gates!.
You are entirely entitled to wind people up who are not observing your legal rights, they should stay within their boundaries and leave you alone, only if and when you commit an offence can they do anything, and then only observe and report you to the relevant authority.

I think your wrong, next Pete will go from the polite gentleman he is to calling people sausages and swearing and being disrespectful like the rest of them for example Toothless torb and no news Yorkshire. Whilst I admire Pete and his respectful auditing I have no time for shouting and swearing at police and court staff. However on this occasion Marti behaved impeccably and must admit Pete brought the good side out in him so maybe it's better Marti avoides those others mentioned. Overall great video!

It's called 'Imprisoning someone against their will'' , for no reason....in other words 'Kidnapping' , which is a SERIOUS offence !! Companies HAVE been prosecuted for such behaviour !

We dropped our trailers insude, had our time off outside in the units, back in, hook up and up to C'nauld in half a shift.
