This is now my favorite UA-camr. I have about 3000 books, so I desperately need to have a log of what I have. I never meet people like this in real life. I wish I knew her personally. Plus her accent to me is so beautiful.

Hello Seyca, I thank you for your lovely comment 🥰. I am glad we came across through this channel.
I am pleased to know you liked the reading journal - I released an update about that system of what I do after finishing a book 📚: ua-cam.com/video/LCkIexBdYgw/v-deo.html
Let me know how it goes!

I agree, most of the reading journals just have too much stuff! Basically, I want a list of the books I have read, like you have created. Your journals are lovely!

Thank you Rhonda, i am glad you like my simplified version (its really working well for me). I shared in another video the entire system of after I finish reading on how I log my favorite passages from novels. ua-cam.com/video/LCkIexBdYgw/v-deo.html

While everyone's binge-watching TV series, I have been binge-watching reading journal videos. I have recently gotten back to reading after realizing I NEED to read to keep my sanity and to myself from burnout.
For the past two months, I have searched and watched a lot of reading journal videos because I have started one of my own, one that's separate from my regular BuJo.
And I have to say yours is my FAVORITE. What a lovely journal you have! So shabby-chic-ish ^___^

I really love your simplified version of a reading book ❤ most of the reading journals I've seen are a bit too elaborate and time consuming for me too! As a literature teacher, i really want to have time to sleep beside grading, preparing classes and read (both for myself and for the classes i prepare for my students!)
And i'm mesmerized by your fluency in several languages! Congratulations! It's so precious to know several languages and be able to access the culture of several places! (i only know French, English and Japanese, and it already brought me so much perspective on my culture and things i used to do without being aware it was a pure cultural setting!)

I posted a more holistic update about my reading/notebook system. I think you may enjoy it, specially in your domain: ua-cam.com/video/LCkIexBdYgw/v-deo.htmlsi=fDiUWJdzaxkbSsLK

My two favorite Shakespearean plays are "Romeo and Juliet" and "Julius Caesar." My major for undergrad college was English Literature so I read a lot more of Shakespeare. We began with Beowulf and spent some time on the old English words that by the time we got to Shakespeare I felt "modern." LOL Perhaps that is why I don't have difficulty understanding the King James Version of the Bible. I used to read so much....then with the PC I got lazy. The way you catalog your reading is inspiring me. My desire is to read, read, then read some more!!

If you like Jane Austen, you may enjoy the movie "The Jane Austen Book Club." It is adapted from the novel of the same name authored by Karen Joy Fowler in 2004. It is a group of ladies, and one gentleman who are reading through the Jane Austen novels with unexpected Austen-esque experiences happening in their modern lives. I found the movie very entertaining and I suspect the book just as or even more so.
